Protip: reCAPTCHA only gives a shit about one of the two words; the more legible one. You can literally fill that second word with whatever the hell you want, [http://dudelol.com/DO-NOT-HOTLINK-IMAGES/4chan-is-using-googles-captcha-technology-to-get-the-word-******-inserted-into-digital-books-as-much-as-possible.png] and it will go through.

In this example, you could have put something like "udinglop rainbowcake" or "udinglop kevenspacey" and it would have worked.

I had one yesterday that consisted of several mathematical symbols, (ie greek letters), which I can't type. You would have thought that it would know that before it generated something impossible

Bwahahahahaha. Oh Sony, you stupid bastards. You're really not doing yourselves any favours with this "sue everyone" response.

Sony really needs to calm the hell down, you can't sue people for simply watching something you don't like. That's not only an insane concept but it's also infringing on people's basic rights.

Now if this code could SOMEHOW spread to a large enough number pf people to become unstoppable
BS like this almost makes one want to do that actually, just start spitting out the code everywhere just to give Sony the middle finger over all this.

Meh, I'll be honest, this is par for the course when it comes to company schenanigans.

People, PLEASE don't tell me you think Sony is the only one doing this. Every company is up in arms when it comes to piracy.

This console bias is kinda embarassing.

When it comes to Recaptcha, only one word is verified. It'll be the word that is one consistent font, at least five letters, and is not an actual word. It'll just be a mix of gibberish. The other word is inconsequential, and you can type in anything you very well please.

Exactly how is kevin butler, or whoever manages his twitter account supposed to know the PS3 jailbreak code exactly einsteins? Or the USB dongle code or wth ever the 30 digit number was. I doubt even the real vp of sony does not go around with the usb dongle or the jb code memorized, nevermind a comedian that does commercials.

Lots of trolls in this thread period. How about a shot of common sense and get off your fanboy horses and quit flaming a comedian for fing up something he should not have known in the first place.

This just in:
The popular board game Battleship has had all PS3 functionality removed in a recent system update. Describing the game as a "Piracy Enabler", the Sony Overlord cites a recent security risk as a possible catalyst for this drastic action.
Under the new update regime, Battleships users will not have access to the word "Battleship". This, Sony believes, will reduce the occurrence of hilarious Battleship related incidents by up to 50%

Man, I don't envy that guy. That feeling, when you've just realised that you've made, well, just a bit of a mistake? Gives me shivers.

Wait, wait, wait (I've been saying "wait" a lot recently).

How the hell can Kevin Butler just randomly post a several character long, root key code that practically looks like a nuclear-launch code? Wouldn't he know better? How does he even know the code? How did he get that code? Kevin Butler is PR, he doesn't do security or coding or whatever. Did he not know that this was a root key? Did he not think it'd be suspicious to post this several-character-long code of something he very well didn't know about? Is this even the code, or just something random he put together?

I'm calling shenanigans on this until I know more, there's too much holes in this cheese to think that a PR guy gets something in security. I say it was a hack, and hope to got that Butler isn't fired over this.

EDIT: Ah, after reading a bit more closely at this, it seems someone tweeted the code to Butler before. So, if that's the case, how did he get that code? I foresee many-a-problem with him...

In what was at all is that anything like something that even approaches a letter? What is it? An Elephant? How can you possible type that, even if you don't need to?
