I'll stick with the full-size wired keyboard and wired mouse, thanks.
Agreed, I never have liked wireless inputs. I once had a wireless mouse:

It worked ok until a friend of mine flicked the ball with his finger. The unfortunate rodent flew from the table and landed with a sickening crash as several internal circuit boards snapped.

I now stick to exclusively wired peripherals.

Pfft. Behold the awesome wonder of the AlphaGrip:

Now there's the true fusion of gamepad and keyboard!
Oh God, this actually upstaged the monster before-hand.

It's so ugly my primal instincts are telling me to kill it before it poisons me or carries off my first-born.

And the really sad thing is, you KNOW somewhere on Planet Earth is some guy who'll buy it.

AND destroy it by tossing it into the wall after getting pwned hardcore in Black Ops.

Why do companies still make those clunky 360 d-pads anymore? They are terrible especially for 2d fighters which is their intended use now that most games working in a 3d realm rely on the dual sticks. It's preposterous.

actually, an analog stick with a mouse would be PERFECT controls for an FPS - aiming with the mouse, forward/back and strafing with the analog stick for variable walk/run speeds.
Just tried this, and it just feels bad. There are too many buttons needed around the WASD that the analog stick just gimps the amount of keybinds you can have ready.

That was a PS2 controller/mouse combo though so maybe you'd need a controller made for one hand with a load of buttons on, but I think it would be uncomfortable to get as many buttons as I'm used to on the same hand as an analog stick.

Should have cut down on the number of keys on the keyboard and made them bigger.

Wow! You'd need, like, twelve fingers on each hand to use this properly. Honestly, who was this made for? Aliens?

Yes, Someone with hands the size and strength of a gorilla, but each finger ends in tiny point, with finger tips resembling one of a small child. That is not all. These aliens have 12 fingered on each hand, Each hand is on one of 5 flexible but strong arms. And when there multi-dextirous hands are not enough the aliens can turn to there 11 feet and telekinesis.
