I find all of these very odd, mainly because I have NEVER been kicked for being a girl...quite the opposite, actually. Most guys are pretty cool with it...you just gotta watch out for the creepers. And all this L4D hate...I have to say that the online community for L4D has been pretty kind to me over the years, although no game has as awesome a community as TF2, IMO! I'm genuinely curious...do you guys play online via XBOX? If so, I guess this makes a lot more sense...I never got into Live because of how childish everyone is. I'm not trying to be a PC elitist, but ever since I switched to mainly Steam community games I've gotten SO much less harassment!Nickthequick said:Well the L4D and L4D2 community is very fickle. Anyway, I was once kicked for liking Dragonforce.
Well people on Xbox Live are kind of more... douche bags than other types of people.Bakaferret said:shewolf51 said:For being a girl. Yeah, also me.Yureina said:Outsmarting the host and making him look like a fool.
These reasons. I can't think of anything original that I have been booted for.Gigaguy64 said:...for liking a certain character, just for joining the game, for being better...
Epic fail.Mind_Gravel said:In a game of BFBC every time I placed a C4 someone would run up and shoot it. I get a suicide and a team kill. Eventually it added up and I got kicked.
This in Gears of War.Aby_Z said:For joining the game...
And you also did it too Vinny, and he got super pissed off. But he doesn't have the power to kick you.Mind_Gravel said:In a game of BFBC every time I placed a C4 someone would run up and shoot it. I get a suicide and a team kill. Eventually it added up and I got kicked.
Oh God I hate Combat Arms now. If you get at least three kills in one life, you're a hacker to them. That's why I left.Pyode said:This. ^Radeonx said:For playing better than the host.
I used to play Combat Arms quite a bit and host's love to kick anyone who kills them 'cuz they think you're modding/hacking.
And even when I didn't get kicked, I usually had at least one dude ***** the entire game that I was modding just because I killed them. It's hilarious.
I used to play on Live, but I switched over to Steam after my 360 stopped playing any copy of Left 4 Dead. I'll have to try a random matchup on Steam sometime. Up until now, I thought it was just because I only played with friends.Bakaferret said:*snip*
