Its (kinda) been done before by Hiro in Season 2 of Heroes thats where the idea came from(minus the whole making the guy immortal part he was already like that before he was put in the casket)

Don't forget though Hiro's "victim" was the villian who killed his father. and to counter act the cement deteriorating, I make it so he/she doesn't die until the corpse is nothing but bone, after which they've long since gone insane and welcome death
