Huh. Never in a million years would I've imagined KH series coming to PC. Really bittersweet about being an EGS exclusive, though. I personally don't have problems with EGS itself, but rather having to open yet another platform.

Also the pricing..... holy shit. I mean I guess it's a standard price, but still seems rather pricey

The problem I have with Epic is the platform doesn't work, and they simply don't care. I still can't launch a single game from the Epic launcher, I get missing .dll file errors, but if I just go into the game files itself and find the executable it works just fine. Its just a worthless launcher on top of a mediocre store.

Really? I have ran multiple games with EGS before, and the only one that gave me trouble was Just Cause 4. Then again, I only have a handful of games that I get from the free games rotations/

At this point in TES lifespan, i can a fairly decently large library of about 35 games from Epic (most of them were free) and I have literally never had this problem. I don't know what is going wrong on your system, but a quick look around forums says your issue is rare.

The store is fine, though for some reason people are still bitter about the fact it exists for some reason. It's like being mad at Walmart because Target's were there first. I don't get it.

I have Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Mechwarrior 5, sinking city, Killing Floor 2, Surviving the Aftermath, and Mafia III. Not one of them can launch using the Epic store launcher. Always has a missing file error, always recommends updating either Epic, my computer, Windows or my drivers, always check, everything up to date. And this isn't a new problem. I got Epic to get Mechwarrior 5 a year ago, on a completely different machine. Used to have a lappy, now I have a full desktop tower. Its never once worked.
And its not like they have a customer support service to ask or get help.

They are using strong arm tactics to try and dominate the pc market. Buying or threatening studios for exclusivity. If they just gave out free games and attempted just emphasize their better revenue split then that would be fine and I would probably eventually go ahead and install their service. But, them buying up exclusives and trying to lock the pc into a single store front is complete bullshit.

I skipped KH3 since I just couldn't care less about the main story after the clusetrfuck that was the PSP one (and all the bajillions mobile/portable side game). But I could maybe give it a shoot if it's like 10$ at some point.

I played it back on Xbox one. The dialogs feel like its talking down to the player, as if they're too stupid to understand what's going on. Sora is annoying, the "good place to find some ingredient" meme is there for a reason, and it can't decide whether it wants to tell a KH story or a disney movie story.

The gameplay was hit-or-miss. I loved the main exploration and the combat, but all of the other stuff felt watered down.

So yeah, it's worth it during a sale, but I would never recommend anyone to buy it for $60

I am glad Epic saw the money in Weeb games and snatch up all the good titles under Steam's nose so the execs at valve can realize how they have become a shovelware storefront.
