The games on the list are Suikoden Tactics, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, with Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4 following on.
Oh thank the lord, that means other people can play the game as well. I had huge trouble finding it and eventually settled for an eBay copy at the steep price of £40, this was less than two months ago. The game is rarer than gold ;/

Cool to see them reissueing games though.

I'll probably pick up MGS2+3 again for that price. My copies have gone missing/damaged and I'd like to keep them in 'stock'.
I played Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. Regrettably, two other things were also true. It was a rental from Blockbuster Video, and it was before they started the option for customers to buy the game.

Still waiting for the first Silent Hill on the PlayStation Store. Or a remake. Whichever comes first.

Would be nicer if they included a PSOne Silent Hill rerelease. Many people want to play that and the upcoming Wii combat-less "reimagining" shouldn't be the only option for them.

YES! I really, really wanted to try Silent Hill, but the new games apparently aren't as good as the first few. Which is better to try if I've never played Silent Hill - the second or the third?
Second. Silent Hill 3 is a sequel to the original, so unless you've played that one, it would be wiser to play 2.
I would also say 2, but the first Silent Hill game I played was actually Silent Hill 3. The storyline is self-contained enough and the gameplay is well done, so you wouldn't be completely lost if you picked up 3 first.

Might as well should make it as DLC rather than reissue a disc that isn't backwards compatible to the PS3.

True, though I think it's better to have experienced Silent Hill before 3, as it makes parts of the game more powerful or scarier. If you know what I'm talking about.

I wonder if its actually going to be on the PS2 or the PS3... If it's the latter... James in full HD o.o SWEETNEEEEESS.

Then again, it does say "re-issue" and not "remake", so probably not :( Oh well... might get it again and try to actually beat it this time >.<

I didn't know they are making a film based on this book! I loved the story so much, it was such a heartbreaking character and having read the author's autobiography, I am just so anxious to see how the director will bring The Lovely Bones to the screen. Any updates?

Suikoden.... Tactics? I recall it had a minimized print run but.... it also featured some slow, awful gameplay, had lower reviews than most of the other games, isn't really representative of the series, and generally--according to my perception, mind, so take with a grain of salt--was not that popular. I'm a HUUUUUGE Suikoden fan and like all the games to at least some extent, but having followed the fandom a bit, I don't recall anyone saying, "Gee, what we really need is a new release of Suikoden Tactics."

Now, I know that many fans (other than me) would lick Konami's faces and offer to be their personal slaves to do with whatever they wanted if they re-issued Suiko I and II for PS2 and/or PS3 and or every platform imaginable. I can also see reason for (and would personally prefer) a re-release of III (especially since some European gamers are STILL bitter they didn't get a release over there) or V. But.... Tactics?

Huh.

What? Individual stores *sad face* what can I do with that? There are only chainstores that are near me. Are there any going to chain stores?

Re-Issuing these games is good, of course, but I find it interesting that they would re-issue Suikoden Tactics without also re-issuing Suikoden IV (from which you transfer save game data into Tactics) or even going classic and releasing Suikoden II to the PSN, which is widely considered the greatest title in the series and would sell... a lot.
