lmao! A friend of mine and I actually played Pazaak irl after getting to that point in 2. Still play it sometimes, xD.TiamatZ said:1st off the bad:
- Glitches, bugs and more bugs
- Anton felt too much like a male Mission for me (and some of the companions felt too predictable/irratating to me.
- Blame LucasArts for rushing such a great game
The goods:
- Cool locations to (re)visit (Onderon and Nar Shadaa being my personal favourites)
- Character dialogue was more important this time, influencing your companions was awesome
- Most of the mini-quests were made much faster (especially Pazaak)
- Most of the villians looked so badass in the game (here's looking at you Darth Nihilus)
- NB: Overall storyline/plot of the game. This one was my personal favourite. Firstly, it took place after Kotor 1, meaning we get to experience first hand the fallout of that game's major war between the Republic and Malak. Secondly, I liked that many people viewed that both the Sith AND the Jedi were to blame (was fun not to feel 'heroic' or anything that the Jedi received). Finally, the player isn't some hotshot superhero or galactic saviour (not technically perse), but merely some exiled Jedi that didn't really care about the wars in the Galaxy.
ALSO: HK-47 for the Win!!!
Overall this game would have easily been one of my favourites had it not been for those damn bugs, and the ridiculous ending we got at the end of the game.
*EDIT*
I was actually just trying to make a point that lead me to making another thread. And yeah, I do kind of find the Droid Specific powers useless on enemies that are not droids. Stasis field was alright though. However, if your playing a more pure file, and not picking up exclusives from both sides, you'll find the missing crutch more of an issue. Where instead of being "Oh, its a droid, Destroy Droid." its "Oh, it isn't a droid? well darn." Which is more pivotal when most enemies are creatures or people. A "Destroy Stupid Life" skill would have been nice, is all I'm saying.YuheJi said:I just always picked the dark side exclusives, even on a light side character. The extra force points required isn't much. And you thought stasis field and destroy droid were useless on 2/3rds of all enemies?WillSimplyBe said:also TOTALLY unrelated, but I want to say it anyway, I always disliked the good/evil system in KotOR. Let me rephrase that... I disliked the BENEFITS of it. Most lightside exclusives were useless on 2/3rds of all enemies or just worse in general. It was like you couldn't really be an offensive force user on the light side and like you... Wait- I smell new thread... *runs*
