Dynasty Warriors 7. Because I'm a mad man and still enjoy playing those games with another human being while sitting on a couch.

I actually bought Half-Life 2 and have been going through it slowly. I'm not really enjoying it, though that doesn't say anything bad about the game. I don't like zombies, mute protagonists, or first-person. But I also hate being out of the loop...

Dragon Age 2. Totally worth it.
I completely agree with this. on all levels.
Also had it preorded for the Bioware Signature Edition. That was worth it too.

Sounds exciting. What'd you get?
The Black Emporium, The Exiled Prince and some extra weapons and stuff. Definitely worth preordering last year.

I bought Resident Evil 4, God of War 2, Devil May Cry 3 and the Half Life 1 port to PS2.

I am very pleased, especially with Half Life 1. Exactly as I remember it on PC.

Portal 2, but my dad bought it. Valve weren't lying about it being their best single player game. The story was amazing!

Game I bought myself...San Andreas. Decided to be retro, and love it!

Final Fantasy 4: Complete Celloection and Knights in the Nightmare.

FF4CC is great and even if The After Years isn't as good as I hear i is, FF4 alone is worth the price. Love the updated sprite art instead of that fugly 3D of the DS version, a lot more charming and easier on the eyes. Haven't played FF4 since the GBA version so it's great to revisit this classic and have a copy of my own for once. Always emulated or borrowed a friends as I never owned a copy.

And while I was picking that up I got Knights in the Nightmare because Extra Credits reminded me that it was on my "to buy" list. Funny enough I saw it at EB and it was only 20 bucks so that was an instant purchase. ALways held off on the purchase for the price to go down and I just had good timing. Came with a download voucher for Yggdra Union too so I got a free game too. Haven't played it yet as I'm holding off on it for now.

That last game I bought was DA:O (PS3), but I'm actually working on KH: Birth By Sleep (PSP), and to a lesser extent, FO:NV (PS3), both of which a friend lent to me.

I agree 110%. I'd much rather have colorful, detailed 2D than hideous, low-res 3D any day.
