BLUE - Mai Yamane
Because it's the best song I can think of right now and it is GLORIUOS!
Either this, or Rain, the Steve Conte version.

actually, anything Yoko Kanno's composed. Adieu, sung by Emily Bindiger, is a great one too.

Halycon + On + On by Orbital, but I had a really good transcendental experience with it once, it involved a Humvee, the Bosnian countryside in spring and a butterfly. Anybody wants to know the story bad enough, PM me.

But if every copy of that was destroyed, I'd have to go with Nothing's Left by ICP.

Bullet For My Valentine - Watching Us Die Tonight. Or Bring Me The Horizon - Pray For Plagues.

I LOVE those 2 songs.

Well, since it's apt, I'll probably echo the Bullet For My Valentine choice, only I'll go with Hit The Floor. Not their best song, but it just fits the situation too well.

Hmm, "Thoughts Of A Dying Atheist" by Muse, perhaps...
"Forever" by Papa Roach, not because it's in any context, its just a good song.

If you could listen to one last song before you died, what would it be?

For me, there are freaking loads, but Rage Against The Machine: Bullet in the Head

Lovin' these choices. Especially Thoughts of a Dying Athiest. Excellent song. I'd have to say, though, that I'd like to hear Hysteria by Muse right before I die. It's my favourite song of all time and I can't think of another song I'd prefer to hear, fitting for the situation or not.

Thoughts of a Dying Atheist is indeed a very good song.

As for mine, it would have to something out of RHCP's collection. Most likely "Under the Bridge", officially an amazing song

Life on Mars... David bowie..
a little poppy for the emotional
a little grim for the moment

just a class act..

But as he said in High fidelity, a beautiful woman singing "the best thing that ever happened to me" with he voice slightly cracking with emotion... what a great way to go out.. still loved.

Four songs come to mind:
Savin' Me - Nickelback
Simon - Lifehouse
There's a good reason these tables are numbered honey... - PatD (Yes, I like Panic, no, I'm not ashamed).
Let it Happen - Jimmy Eat World

Those were my all-time favourites... And finally,
Something - The Beatles

If its the last song before I die, can I choose a song and put it on loop?
The song would just go on playing but you still would be dead..
