Latest game you purchased and why?

Portal, I wanted a hard copy of it so people would stop making me log onto steam to prove I've played it.

NWN2 $7 steam sale for the game and its 2 expansions (I need to tickle my DnD bone too)
Terraria because of the Steam sale and peer pressure

Neverwinter Nights 2, Platinum. Again, except on steam, cause my DVD version got maimed by my swivel chair. Also it was on sale, and I'm just a sucker for those.

My last purchase was the Hitman Collection on Steam, as it was a fiver for three games, I've never played the series before, but it's always interested me, and I saw a really funny LP on Chocolate Hammer.

For my part, I got Bioshock 1 and 2, because, hey it's one of the latest classics that one needs to play

Don't play two if you enjoy the first one. People generally praise the first game, while dismissing the second...Which is completely justified.

I just bought X-Com: UFO Defense or whichever title for it you prefer from Steam. Yeah, I know I missed the sale, but $5 is hardly going to break the bank.

I've never played it and it gets some serious love so I figured I need to try it out.
