For me its the final boss of prototype where they recycle an enemy from an earlier boss and give him more health.

The one in Gears of War 2.

All you had to do was hold down the right trigger for 12 seconds. Thats it, then it just simply dies.

The guy from Fable 2.

All he does is give a speech and then dies after you shoot him once.

WTF!?

The boss of Dwarf Fortress

Oh wait that was the entire game. So hard...

(Much love to Dwarf Fortress! It's still got a gigantic learning curve though.)

Inquisitive Dave if flash games count, if not, then I'm not sure, I never remember the ending to movies books or games, but all the bosses in Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2 were relatively simple for me except Sephiroth

It almost made me want my time back!
I was very disappointed.

The Evil advisor in prince of persia. you basically kill him when he's back to being mortal and close to death. Could have just been a cutscene of you stabbing him in the back. Narrative wise it wasn't a bad scene but gameplay it was hazy. But then again a lot of boss fights are like that.

"We must fight to the death in an epic duel." *throws a few of punches and kicks.* "I am now defeated!"

I know it's been said many times before at this point, but I feel the need to reiterate; Titan Joker from Batman: Arkham Asylum. It's incredibly lazy because it's not really a fight with the Joker. It's more like an endurance challenge with the various small-fry baddies you've faced over the course of the game, with the option to hit the Joker once in between rounds.

Frank Fontain. I was surprised such a good game had such a weak final boss.
This. It just felt as though it was thrown together to meet a deadline. No thought or originality, completely out of place in a game like Bioshock.

You never got stuck on
The second fight with Riku?
I always found him impossible on my first playthrough. That said, when I was on my Expert run I started giving Sora all the Power Ups he would ever need and more I found the entire game easy (apart from the beginning).

OT: Simpsons Hit and Run doesn't really count, but the Big Bads simply sit there and do very little to stop you simply blowing them up over the final three missions...

Fable 2 was the laziest, but there are plenty of other games with shitty boss fights, like Gears of War 2 and Bioshock 1. Bioshock 2 kind of is too, because it's just a cutscene, but there is a pretty tough fight (albeit not with the main boss) before the cutscene, so it's excusable.

And if you don't kill him, someone else kills him for you!!!

The sister thing should have really been placed as spoilters though...

Borderlands final boss was lazy - being a hunter class with a rifle that shoots 900 quickly dealt with it - a final boss should not last 6 seconds

but they did make up for it with Crawmerax ¬¬

EDIT: Ninja'd hard

Red Faction Guerilla. The final boss is an unarmored man sitting inside an ordinary tank. And there is a pile of rifles that shoot depleted uranium spikes through tanks and the people inside them not two inches away. One shot, YOU WIN!

Fable 2. You could literally beat him by using a piece of electrical tape to hold down the A button, using a rubber band to hold the left stick forward, and walking away for about five minutes. I kid you not.

Compared to the super epic (If somewhat easy) final boss of Fable and Fable: The Lost Chapters (Jack of Blades and Dragon Jack respectively), it was a big let down.

can the boss in AC2 be classed as lazy just for being down right awful?
