It'd be narrow minded to say everyone who plays LoL is a bastard, but I never played a game with friendly people. Something about it just seems to make people behave like pillocks, more so than other co-op games.
It really depends where you play. I feel like a lot of league players get wildly different experiences. Leveling in league is incredibly painful. Max-level it all depends on elo, and even then the variance is ridiculous. Some people lose their shit at Diamond over anything. Some do that in Silver. It's the weirdest thing.
But that's the problem: Having played league and made friends (even close friends) with people on league, I can honestly say I cannot recommend this game to people anymore. I did at one point, but now? No way. I can play it and enjoy it, but I can't try and make someone suffer through getting a max-level account and then dealing with the hate you get in the average game.
Veering too far off-topic here, but XJ9 is a persistent type of crazy. As said before, he's been banned multiple times. This type of crazy is not exclusive to league, and to pin it on that would be a little silly.

It's certainly improbable but that's not the hypothetical point.
She raped XJ9. He is not legally capable of consent.
Edit: Correction, no sex took place(?) Ergo no rape.
No, I mean, consistently having the ability to threaten several females into submission until they had to find help from others through online bullying, including the posting of online pictures of one of them naked.
I'm making this a gender discussion, essentially.
If the genders were reversed, it would simply not have happened or have a wildly different response BASED on how much actual damage it could do to him. Level-headed back and forth here. Just understand that what you described as the potential situation assuming role reversal is way less likely to occur in the situation of the female being the offender.
EDIT:
Also, the hypothetical crazy "she" would likely not go the route of posting naked pictures of him on the web. It just doesn't have as much weight.
