a good 99% of the WoW population doesnt use Xfire, nor does a huge portion of the LoL population.

I cant speak for DFC but I am willing to bet its about the same.

Those statistics mean less than nothing lol. i swear I don't know anyone on WoW that uses xfire XD. Now if it was based on income WoW would still win unfortunately. The game just needs to die already.

Interesting that a DotA clone, particularly one as poorly done as LoL, is so popular. From what I played of it, it seemed to have no appeal to public gamers at all due to the imbalanced permanent skill tree (the old 'unlock blink, cannot be beaten by teams that haven't yet' trick).

To be fair that only really happens at the levels near where it get's unlocked and after that everyone has it so it's fine, im not sure why Riot does that but it's not to big of a deal, I almost forgot it was locked after a while.
It's also not as crazy OP can never be ganked as people think it is.
But yeah, i'll concede it's stupid that an important spell like that is locked at the start.

well I mean, the reason is totally obvious
League of Legends is FREE
I mean, it's a good game, and I love it to death, and it totally deserves this
but the reason it is beating a majority of the games listed is because they are not free!

Yeah, but Runescape is free and it only ever got a close second to World of Warcraft. Plus, even though League of Legends is free doesn't mean their developers/publishers aren't making any revenue off their microtransactions. I'm interested to know what the company's profit is compared to Blizzard.

The F2P and really damn good game topped WoW? 'K, not that surprising when you put two seconds of thought into it. LoL has really taken off... Really didn't think it would get this popular.

Welp, the quest to become the best Irelia on the EUW servers continues I suppose. Still need to at least be able to play one AD Carry decently. Why not Fiora? She's just badass.
