Left 4 Dead 2 on PS3

Ok before anyone goes on at me about this thread being made already I search using the search bar and couldnt find anything so... yeah...

Ive been looking through the internet and found equal amounts of evidence that say that L4D 2 is/isnt coming out for ps3, but the most concrete evidence i found was in Gamestations 'coming soon catalogue' which said it was but when i asked the guy behind the counter he didnt know so im back to square 1 so if anyone can shed any light on the subject with PROPER evide3nce i dont want any Xbox or PC Trolls just saying it wont.

Please Help!!

As far as I know, it isn't. It's always been offered exclusively to 360 and PC users (as far as I know). Sorry if it seems a bit vague.

Knowing Valve, and how much they hate the PS3 because it's hard to program for; I'd imagine that it'll be a 360 and PC exclusive. Sorry.

The Left 4 Dead 2 site makes no mention of the PS3 getting it so I don't think it is.

Go to the bottom of the page and you will it says 'Steam' and 'Xbox Live' but no PSN.

Well, considering Left 4 Dead 2 is a game developed by Valve and when Valve say something like this: Valve laughs off Left 4 Dead PS3 [http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=207384] I am guessing that the chances for a PS3 port for Left 4 Dead 2 are unlikely. Even if EA are the one doing the port, I do believe that they still need Valve's permission to do so which might I add, doesn't look like a likely occurrence.

Then again the article is set in February, so things may have changed. I doubt it though.

EA are probably going to port it later on like they did with the Orange Box, but Valve are refusing to make it on PS3.
Just buy it on the PC.

When it comes to programming, Valve are one of the laziest companies around,it'll be a cold day in hell before they get off their arses and programme anything more for the PS3. TBH i was suprised they could even be bothered for the Orange Box.

Gamestation are notoriously hopeless with their catalogues, I've got an old catalogue floating about that says Halo 2 was coming soon... to PS2. It's because they make typos and cut/paste the last catalogue to make the new one, there's always wrong platforms/detail/release dates.

Seriously, Valve has no development team for the Playstation and they've cut their ties to EA. Look on the wiki page and the official L4D/2 page and something is conspicuously absent. Nobody is making L4D or L4D2 for the playstation, it's not happening, if it (and that's a bif IF) ever does happen it's not happenin withing the foreseeable future.

It's just not happening, the most concrete 'evidence' you could find was a bad catalogue printed and finalised months ago, that should tell you all you need to know.

I wouldn't call a marketing catalogue "concrete evidence", in fact marketing catalogues created by a third party for a company that merely stock a product as opposed to create or distribute such a product is as substantial as a month old blancmange.

I'd love to help, don't believe what the end of line tell you, they want you there regardless.

I have a PS3 and I would love to see Valve games on he black monolith I use to play games, but if Left 4 Dead 2 does come to the PS3 then it'll be made by a third party and it will be buggy, and then my life will turn to shit.

I'll start taking vicodine to ease the pain, stealing from friends and family to support my habit.

Then I'll buy a PC and get steam and all will be good in my life again.
