ummmmm, CHOPPA! Get to the CHOPPA!

Their could be a choppa to pick them up, or they hit up a boat to get them out of the artic, or try to get a jumbo jet to work that crashlanded. I dunno.
Well if you think that there are, oh, 6 billion people in the world, let's say that 50% are turned, and it would be safe to assume that 24% would be consumed before being turned. So that leaves 1% alive and healthy, immune to the virus or just plain uninfected. There is NOWHERE in the world where one could survive indefinitely with such insurmountable odds. Everywhere there would be zombies. No where would be safe.

And a random chopper won't just be flying over the city every time, you know.

Anyway, we got off the topic of the thread. I think I'll go make "Is a zombie survival logically possible?" thread.
*counts on fingers* I think you left out an entire 25% in that little calculation of yours. Whoever they are they must be the lucky ones.
Just what i was going to say, plus its not airborne or anything, or contracted with bite, cuz our 4 survivors would be dead by first bite, puts a bummer on your game. So your math may be off by a bit.

Gentlemen, gentlemen. You're all wrong.

They would escape using dogsleds. Duh.

I would love to see a campaign where you have to escape through a theme park. Can you imagine? Zombie clowns wandering around, having to activate a carousel to carry you to the other side of the area, a roller coaster crashing right near the end of the finale... It would be so intense, and so very awesome.
I could so dig, a theme park level or campaign, maybe add a special special infected, the strong man or something like, the wolf rapist freak, who beats the shit out of u 30 points a swing.

Or the carnie, who just ripps off your money.

OR the screamer, who collectively stuns everyone within ground zero of this scream for like 3-4 seconds, with a 20 second cooldown, however he would have to be next/near really close to them.
There is seriously so much you could do with a theme park level. House of Mirrors, anyone? Or how about a haunted house, with animatronic monsters (vampires; werewolves; yes, even fake zombies) jumping out at you? So much wasted ammo. Even the Tunnel of Love would be freaky, if done correctly.

I think I need to write Valve a letter...

Just for fun I'd like them to randomize the placement of cars with alarms in them, I mean once you learn where they are in the game you can pretty much avoid them easily, but not if any car could end up with an alarm.

Here's a question, I'm not sure if they will fix this but why is it that you can blow up that gas station and not alert any zombies at all, you can turn on a scissor lift and attract hundreds of zombies, but blowing up an entire gas station does absolutely nothing, it seems a bit strange to me.

I'm holdin' out for a Zoey wardrobe change.
NO, I am NOT thinking of Bikinis!

And a crowbar,
and zombie ducks.
... were you thinking of the sinktight leather suits that the beauties wore in MGS4 that dripped with fluid and you could see everything because it was so tight? (they actually did the motion capture for those scenes au natural) :p

I would like to see the ability to customize characters. You pick a general body type but choose the clothing on said body type. Kinda like GTA4's

Back to my scenario thoughts, I just apologize for not posting sooner. I had envisioned it as the survivors fighting up a small mountain at some alpine resort, and getting rescued by a chopper at the top or something along those lines. There are good number of possibilities, and I don't have the energy right now to list them all. But theoretically they'd start at the bottom, possibly at the banks of a frozen lake, and work their way to a lodge on the summit for the last stand against the hoard.

Of course they're planning to release DLC at some point...For the following reasons:

1. They're Valve
2. They said they would
don't expect it in a hurry though, valve said they were going to release Half Life 2 : episode 3 long long ago.....

they already had a special infected called the screamer, it was in a straight jacket and when it saw you you had a few seconds before it ran off and hid before screaming and attracting the horde. they took it out because it got too confusing for players and changed the boomer, which was originally going to injure you by exploding, into the vomiting kind we all know and love. play the developers commentary, its all in there.
