A miniature size Gabe Newell?
I wouldn't be able to do him justice.

Oh, that's not in stores here in the US either, at least not that I've seen, you'd have to get it online or a specialty shop, if they sold them in stores I'd actually be tempted to buy some, I love Legos.
Yeah, it's too bad. When I was a kid, you could buy them by the bucketload. And I did.
I never had Legos of my own, I always had K'nex, it was my cousin that had Legos, of course playing with both was always awesome.

Yes, I have a shitload of K'nex as well. I also had Mechanix, which is basically like the die cast metal version of K'nex. I used to make great contraptions with that stuff.
I could never convince my parents to get me any Mechanix, those looked like so much fun.

Build a LEGO Gabe Newell.
I would, but I don't have enough blocks.

Incidentally, that's also what's so great about hallucinogenic drugs.
A miniature size Gabe Newell?
Or just a bust of him. Then you wouldn't use too many, or too little pieces.

OT: Those are freaking awesome. If I knew where my LEGOs were I'd dig them up and make some that would most likely suck.

Damn... I was expecting an announcement for the LEGO Mass Effect video game.

I don't suppose they'll start making that until they're done with LEGO Modern Warfare, though...

Oh, they were.

Tough to use though, but unlike Lego and K'nex, they stayed together when moved, meaning you could make moving things with them.
Yeah, I had a few things that were K'nex that were indestructible, but most fell apart with any heavy usage, at least they were easy to repair.

Haven't played with Lego in years... But now I feel the need to dig them up and attempt to either build the original Normandy or a turret from Portal
Well, he beat you to the original Normandy, too.
Yeah, I saw it when I checked the link... Turrets it is then!

This is pretty amazing. I always wished I had enough LEGO to build something like this. I got a big box of stuff once, but it was just the big, chunky pieces so I couldn't make anything too precise.

I always preferred Bionicle. I still have a box full of that stuff, and Technic from a big-ass Mars Explorer. I just packaged it all up on a purge of my room, but once I move out and can't be the subject of scorn from my family, I'll open them back up. I was actually in the process of building a model of an Elite from Halo and never managed to finish. I'll do that someday.

I don't have any images, as I have left my creation in Europe, but I made a pretty nice crane transport truck using pieces from a fire truck and ambulance set...
I actually made the colors work with the truck, the cab lifted up like so

(Wow, that image was really hard to find...)
I payed a lot of attention to detail, like a fuel cap, engine, seat, the front grill and headlights plus roof lights. It had three "axels", so six wheels, the rear was a bit long, with ramps that could be moved up and down, and the crane was a scale model that fit perfectly onto the truck and...
This is all totally off topic, I just love reliving my LEGO moments...

How about a LEGO Ireland flag?
Don't have any orange pieces. They didn't sell them back when I bought them.

Hell, I might stock up off the net when I can.
LEGO Chainsaw? Leave it hollow for your hand to fit in!
