Less than 24 hours to ME3

I pre-ordered the CE, but I live in Belgium (sadly enough) and it's cheaper to send it to my family in the US and pick it up at Easter when I go to visit...
So a little more than a month for me.

Just a suggestion and you more than likely have thought of this, but if the CE package is fairly small it wouldn't cost much to send it by mail. I've send things to the Netherlands and England and it was pretty cheap. Especially if your family could send it in one of those "if it fits, it ships" flat rate boxes that they have. At the very least they could send you the game and you could get the extras like the lithograph and art book at Easter.

I COULD do that, and I really LOVE Mass Effect (why else would I be getting the CE otherwise?), but I just have, to quote Han Solo, a bad feeling about doing that.
Anyway, My birthday is at the end of March, so it'll be just like a birthday present then!
(Pretty much the best friggen gift ever, amiright?)

Oh yeah, and my family is known for saving money wherever we can (not that we're poor, but it's not a bad habbit to have)

Anyone else going to be waiting in line with fingers in their ears? Its bad enough that gamestop employees are tards and spoil the DLC character for those with the CE (and may not know who the character is), but I guarantee morons in line are going to be throwing spoilers around like its nothing.

I intend to bring my iPod since I was advised to show up 2 hours early to get my name on the "first come first serve" list. I'll be listening to my stoner ummm, "mellow ambient spacey techno" playlist until at last ME 3 is in my grasp.

Just listen to M4: Part 2 on repeat for 2 hours.

I might - just might - bust out my Pink Floyd playlist for this occassion.

Oh and I'm well stocked up too. Got 4 Red Bulls, a 5 Hour Energy shot, a fresh pack of smokes...I had originally intended to just get the game, go home, and go to bed so at least I'd have it first thing when I woke up...but with each passing hour, I'm getting closer and closer to saying "Screw it! I ain't goin' to bed tonight!!!"

We'll see how long I can stay up with the energy drinks.

To hell with the people who complain. If they were allowed to get all wet for Skyrim, then what's wrong with us getting excited for Mass Effect 3? Besides, the Skyrim hype was worse... much worse.

I ordered my collector's edition from Amazon, and I'm still waiting for my shipping confirmation. Unfortunately that means I won't be getting the game until about 7:00 PM tomorrow night, since that's usually when UPS delivers in my area. I'm excited beyond measure, and I can't wait to transfer my first Shepard and see what is in store for me.

I'm going to the midnight launch tonight to get my Collector's Edition. I'll be playing it all night... Then I have to day off tomorrow, so I'll be playing it all day then, too!

I've got my Collectors Edition on Gamestop pre-ordered, so I'm constantly refreshing the orders page until the order says "closed" today.

..And then the minute it comes in the mail, the entire day will be completely gone to it.

The only question I still haven't answered is whether I'm going to Walmart or Gamestop at midnight.

Walmart may or may not have it, and if they do I'll have to pester one or two employees to go find it in the back fo rme.

Gamestop will have it, but I'll be forced to stand in line with people so unhygenic I'll need to take a shower myself when I get home. Last time I chose Gamestop and had to put up with some teenager trying to hit on the female sales clerk using D&D references. I wanted to gouge my eyes out with a rusty spork.

Leaning heavily towards Walmart, extra armor code(whatever that means) I'll get at gamestop be darned.

I personally have a pre-order collector's edition over at amazon. It makes me a bit upset because amazon estimates delivery won't be until the 13th, which means a possible extra week of waiting. I am hopeful though as usually amazon over-estimates to make sure they have plenty of time, but this may not be one of those times.

Same here, Don't fear Amazon usually overestimates ETA's.
But I'm still willing to bet that tomorrow at around 4 PM (That's when the mail shows up at my house) I'll be fucking pissed.


In the meantime though I'm finishing up some ME2 playthroughs and working on my feigned illness excuse I'm going to use to get out of work for about a week so I can play ME3 with out the distractions of... you know, having to get paid.

About the hype and buzz I've spent the better part of a year trying to absorb all the negative hype possible to further reinforce the impression that ME3 will be awful on the off chance I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm still trying to decide whether or not I'm going to watch Susan's review of ME 3 (Even though she totally wasn't playing it last week _> <_<)
I'm also going to have to avoid about a billion messages from friends who will pick their copies up at stores tomorrow.

Ooo are your friends the type where you say "no, I don't want to know" and yet they keep talking even after you've put your fingers in your ears and go "la la la la la"?

And honestly at this point I'm a little glad it'll take a bit to get here. I've been awake for about 24 hours now (various reasons, long story) so I'm very tired and I couldn't possibly stay awake well enough to properly play. XD

87 hours for me.

I live in the UK, and was one of the unlucky...many, who pre-ordered from Game. Now that my pre-order has been cancelled, I can no longer get the Limited Edition *sobs*

Meh, will live with standard edition...and trade in Resident Evil Revelations so I get it for about half the price.

The excitement hasn't hit me yet, but it probably will on Thursday after I get my exam results determining whether I get into Uni or not.

Totally not a bad habit to have! And I can understand worrying about it in the mail. Some gets some kind of hint that it's a CE of ME3 and it would be very likely to be stolen. Just wanted to help you out if I could.

Christ, tell me about it. I'm getting mine at Midnight at Gamestop. I preordered the N7 Collector's Edition when it was announced so I wouldn't miss out on it.

But man, there are some nasty kids there. They actually think the employees give two shits about them. They seriously just stand there and blather on about what they're into and all sorts of nonsense. I feel for the employees sometimes.

Regardless, I have mine payed off already. I'm taking my girlfriend with me to repel the social retards and neck-beards, grabbing my copy, and running like hell before the aroma strikes us.

I forgot that the gun thing was Gamestop exclusive. Awesome! I'm a sucker for little extras like that... Free extras.

And yes, I think I'm about to explode due to excitement. I've had this preordered since the beginning of last year.

I truly hope so. Why did they even think that was a good character model? It looks hideous! Frightening! Absolutely Grotesque! But truly, how did that get passed the testing stage?

The testers are offered frequent bathroom breaks? I think I'd run out of bile by the end of the first day of testing.

Nothing is better than free though I kind of wonder why you're not already at the gamestop, waiting. You know others are after all. If had access to a game stop and didn't like amazon so much I'd have totally camped for HOURS.

Yeah me too. As soon as VGA awards announced it (because you know it was so hush hush no one expected it) I ordered it. Though it wasn't until october that I went in and traded up for a Collector's Edition. I was SOOO sad when they bumped the date back to March. I was like "Wait what? NO! You promised me! December, DECEMBER!"
