The end of the console war means the end of all competition and there will be only 1 console?
The Pros:
1)More games for that single console(no exclusives)
2)No more Fan boys (go riddance0)
3)Developers will have no risk- having 1 console means that the game requires more effort to be multi-platform / or not be multi-platform at all.
The Cons:
1)No competition means no innovation.
2)The prices can be jacked sky high(there will be a limit though as no one would buy a game/console if ,say,the price of a game is $200.The market would be Industry and would die out )
)The old Fan boys moaning over the lost console.
In my opinion the war should go on, for the sake of innovation and my wallet.
