Well that's just great. There's another one of those giant things down in the crypt. Moldath said it's some kind of human crocodile. How the heck do these things even come into existence? Well, I know how it's going to stop existing. Better send the military down to haven and wait for the inevitable. Why couldn't this Geshak just pop up in the abyss and chase around that octopud with Yara?
18th Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
This is...this is...
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!
19th Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
Well, after getting over the sight of the incredible buckler that was just made, I returned to the forgotten beast situation. It seems that, as I anticipated, Geshak is swimming through the underground lake to haven.
This is not a problem, as I ordered the entire military to amass in haven. They should be ready for Geshak's onslaught.
What?!? How is there only one soldier there?!? Where the hell is everyone else?!?
20th Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
Geshak emerged from the lake, expecting to find a terrified group of farmers huddling in the corner at the sight of his arrival. Instead, he was greeted by the military, who had thankfully arrived in time to deal with him. Geshak didn't show any sign of fear though, lunging forward to crush the bold dwarves of Reveredtour.
However, the beast was unable to harm them. They worked together to ensure that anyone who was grabbed by the beast was freed without harm. Geshak was unable to overpower the military.
The best soon found itself surrounded by the soldiers. In its confusion, it began lashing out in random directions with all its might. These attacks had a large amount of force, but they were clumsy and any trained soldier could easily avoid them.
Unfortunately, one of the targets was not a trained soldier. The dog could not withstand the impact of the blow and was shattered by it.
However, this would be Geshak's only triumph. He once again was quickly overwhelmed by the soldiers who had reduced him to a bleeding mess of cuts and bruises. The mighty beast simply could not hold its ground against them. Battered, beaten, and confused, Geshek fell to the ground, when an earth golem charged forward and delivered the final blow.
Geshak was no more. The soldiers, content with their victory, put away their weapons when suddenly they were attacked again. This time by something no one was expecting.
It seems that the soldier who had owned the dead dog had been pushed over the edge by its death, and was now trying to take his anger out on the other soldiers.
A brief scuffle ensued, but thankfully nobody was severely injured during it. However, Momuz wants to make an example of the soldier that had started the fight. Goden said she was more than happy to do so. I'm not sure what she's going to do, but it can't be anything that bad, right?
21st Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
OH GOD GODEN WAS THIS NECCESARY?!? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!?
AT LEAST BRING HIM TO THE HOSPITAL!! DON'T LEAVE HIM BLEEDING OUT ON THE STAIRS!!
AHHHH WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!
22nd Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
What's wrong with Goden?!? How could she kill a dwarf over that? This is horrible. The worst part is I don't think she even cares that the dwarf died!
But we didn't have a prison for him to be put in. Goden says she didn't have a choice but to beat him. I'll buy that, but she didn't need to beat him so hard that he died!
27th Moonstone, 1054, Early Winter
Yara is still chasing that octopud through the abyss. I think by this point Yara has forgotten that Reveredtour even exists. His sole focus in life is killing that octopud.

The moat has filled to the point where it is safe to start placing our animals inside of it. I've already had a few cave krakenlings and an alligator we confiscated from the elves put in. The krakenlings are small, but they will grow up soon enough. I hope to fill this moat with dozens of beasts, so that no enemy can survive inside of it.
If only those hippos had been caught.
5th Opal, 1054, Mid-Winter
Goden continues to butcher the local wildlife for no reason. I'd complain about it, but I'd rather her be out there killing warthogs than in here looking for criminals to "punish".
On the subject of killing though, all the butchering in Reveredtour has resulted in a large amount of skulls lying in the refuse stockpile. I never really thought about it until Momuz pointed it out. I'm not sure why, but he suddenly has a fascination with the skulls.
8th Opal, 1054, Mid-Winter
In light of Goden's treatment of criminals, I've built a makeshift prison down in haven.
Stonesense Version [http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5829/prisonsense.png]
It's very simple and can only hold two criminals, but it's not meant to be advanced. Prisoners can drink from the well constructed next to them and I plan to have some food put in a pile next to the chains. So they shouldn't require constant care to stay alive. At the very least, Goden no longer can cave in a dwarves head over the smallest of crimes.
14th Opal, 1054, Mid-Winter
You know what's nice? Armor stands. Armor stands are just lovely. I feel the need to remind everyone just how great they are. NOBODY TOUCH THEM!!! THEY MUST NOT LEAVE REVEREDTOUR!!!
21st Opal, 1054 Mid-Winter
I just came up with a brilliant way to utilize all the animals we got from the elves; make them fight Yara! I mean sure he'll probably tear them apart or spend the next year chasing them, but it couldn't hurt to try. It's not like we need them for meat. We have enough meat to last us for years.
Unfortunately, the drop into the abyss is quite damaging...maybe I should dig out a new passage for a smaller drop.
25th Opal, 1054, Mid-Winter
So Momuz told me that he had an idea for how to decorate the fort. At first I was interested, until I realized this was why he wanted to know how many skulls we had.
He wants to have the crafters to carve the skulls into totems, then place said totems in a massive pile to show the might and power of Reveredtour. That's...gross, to say the least. Besides, I don't think it shows our power so much as it does how many animals we butcher for food.
