I actually really like some of the high tier energy weapons in this game, and the holorifle in particular is damn satisfying to use. The Laser and Plasma Pistols are disappointingly boring however. Guns is still a much more useful skill to have in general though, way more guns than Energy Weapons.

Yeah, I'm a guns user myself, particularly rifles. Who doesn't like hearing the boom when you fire off the 50 caliber rifle? Explosives are fun too, but I find that there are usually too many allies around usually to make great use of them.
I have to second that. Explosives are just to... inelegant for me. The satisfaction of sniping a enemy from a long distance before they know what's going on? That's great. But just tossing explosives doesn't do it for me.

Short update today, it's rather dialogue heavy and focused on gathering more info on Primm and the areas around it.

On a side note, has anyone noticed the change to the OP? I added different images for different categories for updates, and I've had a big picture on top that I've been updating rather regularly to show what location we currently are it in the LP. It's a work in progress of course, and any input would be appreciated.

I'm also considering using videos as supplementary side updates from time to time, as I did recently buy some better capturing software.

[HEADING=1]Shoplifting, Check-Cashing Fraud and Gas Pump Driveoffs[/HEADING]
So now that Primm has a sheriff, maybe things will improve around here.

Like maybe they first could pick up that pole in the middle of the road.

It's quite an eyesore.

Let's go to talk Deputy Beagle, to find out where the people who shot us went.

Beagle is angry at us for making Meyers the sheriff.

"What's your problem now?"

"My problem is that I'm no longer a deputy. I'm just a Beagle now."

Well, you weren't a very good deputy anyway. Serves you right.

"Apparently two-and-a-half months of law enforcement experience doesn't count for anything. The new regime is just that: all new."

Apparently Meyers was supposed to bring his own people or something, but all that's new is Meyers. I'unno.

"He's a good sheriff but a hard man. He doesn't abide by anyone slinking by the rules. I guess there won't be any trouble, but the man's law is hard."

You're just bitter that you're not deputy anymore.

The ending for Primm with Meyers under seems to be the most positive (Arguably, equally positive to Primm Slims) and there doesn't seem to be many consequences in the game.

"Can you tel me about the man in the checkered suit who came through here?"

"Ahh yes, my memory is much clearer now that I am free from my bondage."

You don't have to do the Primm sidequest to get this information from him but for pacing issues I saved this conversation for now.

"I was sku... er, performing recon, gathering information on some of the Powder Gangers, when some Great Khans arrived with your friend in the suit. They were talking about some delivery they took from a courier, I assume that was you."

I guess we have that main character smell about us.

"They said they'd be heading through Nipton to Novac to meet a contact there."

Well, I guess where we know where to go now, but let's hang around Primm for awhile longer, shall we?

So all of the citizens of Primm leave the casino now. They're return to their homes scattered about Primm.

Robot Cowboy Count: 2

"Who are you?"

"Primm Slim at your service! Authentic cowpoke and official spokesbot of the Vikki and Vance Casino and Museum! Yeehaw!"

"Who were Vikki and Vance?"

"Where have you been, pardner? Hiding under a rock?"

Well, we don't have the excuse of living in a Vault our entire life this time.

"Vikki and Vance were this nation's fourth or maybe fifth most infamous celebrity outlaw cuople ever, that's who they was! Primm Slim here can tell you the whole story, if you can spare a minute to hear the tale."

"Tell me the whole story of Vikki and Vance."

"Yahoo! I ain't had a chance to tell their tale in a mess of years. First things first: any bosh you've heard about Vikki and Vance being copycats ain't nothing but ill-tempered slander. Fact is, they begun their crime spree two days before Bonnie and Clyde robbed their first bank - so who was copying who? Now true, Vikki and Vance didn't exactly cut a wide swath of murder and bank robbery across the central U.S., like Bonnie and Clyde did."

So, basically they are to Bonnie and Clyde that the Tunnel Snakes are say to the Raiders in Fallout 3.

"It was more like a narrow swath of shoplifting, check-cashing fraud, and gas pump driveoffs - but crime is crime! They drove reckless, too. Having lived by the gun - well, Vance owned one, anyway - it was only fitting that the duo of desperados would die by the gun. Perhaps it was fate itself that accidentally drove them into a crossfire between police and a gang of bank robbers in Plano, Texas. Or maybe they just didn't notice until it was too late. It's been said that Vikki would have tried to cash a bad check in that bank, had she lived. We'll never show for sure. All we know is that the crossfire tore the car and both occupants to pieces, and the police issued an official apology."

My favorite part is that the police apologized for killing them.

"You can put your eyes on the genuine Death Car just over yonder, and there's Vance's machine gun in the case next to it!"

This is one of the reasons why I love this game - it's quite funny at times, but unlike Fallout 3 when it tries to be funny, it doesn't come off as quite out of place as it was in 3.

"What is this place?"

"Why, this is the Vikki and Vance Casino and Museum - Primm's Primm-eer tourist attraction and resort destination! Yeehaw!"

"Tell me about Primm."

"Primm is a thriving resort community located in Clark County, Nevada, right along Interstate 15."

It isn't exactly thriving anymore...

Well, I guess in comparison to the hellish desert around them they are doing quite well for themselves.

"Whether you can't wait 'til Vegas to try your luck, or want to hit one last jackpot before you leave Nevada, Primm's your place! The town's Primm-eer attraction is the world-famous Vikki and Vance Casino and Museum, so you came to the right place, pardner!"

So this is the car. Riddled with bullet holes and rather rusted. It's still much more intact than the majority of cars in this universe at any rate.

There are no clothes on the mannequins here.

None on these either.

Awesome, a unique gun this early on? (Yes, I'm aware if you have 75 lockpick you can get Lucky from the Bison Steve Hotel in a safe, but no one will probably have that much lockpick at this point)

Oh.

Now I'm disappointed...

"Did you know that Vance's gun is missing?"

"Just mosey on over to the display case and you'll see it plain as day. Quite a piece, that gun. Mint condition. Never fired."

Nice 200 year old gun. Maybe it just disintegrated.

"The display case is empty. The gun's missing."

"Have you gone loco, pardner? I can see the gun with my own three photo sensors from where I'm standing right now. [You hear strange sounds coming from Primm Slim. He may be trying to read a corrupted file, but it would take more science knowledge to be sure.]

Well, I guess we'll never find out about the whereabouts of that gun. What a shame.

On this playthrough anyways.

"What about the Bison Steve hotel, across the street?"

Forgot to ask this earlier.

"The Bison Steve is one of Primm less-impressive casino hotels."

Out of two hotels.

"I'd steer clear of that place, pardner, if I were you. Rumor is the dealers over there cheat, and that rickety roller-coaster's liable to fall down any day 'cause it wasn't built to code."

Considering that, I'm surprised it's even remotely intact.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Ruby Nash. Pleased to make your acquaintance. My husband and I are Primm long-timers. He fancies himself a trader, and I know my way around a kitchen."

A cook, eh?

"What do you cook?"

"My specialty is a radscorpion venom casserole. It's a more appetizing than it sounds!"

...Ew.

"The venom has a sharp, smokey flavor, and it numbs your mouth so fierce you'll forget you ever had a tongue. It's perfectly safe, long as you don't have sores in your mouth for the venom to find your blood. 'Cause that'll kill you dead."

That's reassuring.

"I'd like some of that radscorpion venom casserole."

"Does sound good, don't it? How many radscorpion glands you got?"

Fuck. I thought a free sample would be in order?

This is another courier who was presumably killed by the Powder Gangers. He has a note on him.

Here is the note:

INSTRUCTIONS

Deliver the package at the north entrance to the Vegas Strip, by way of Freeside. An agent of the recipient will meet you at the checkpoint, take possession of the package, and pay for the delivery. Bring the payment to Johnson Nash at the Mojave Express agency in Primm.

Bonus on completion: 250 caps.

MANIFEST

This package contains:

Two (2) Oversized Dice, composed of fuzzy material

CONTRACT PENALTIES

You are an authorized agent of the Mojave Express Package until the delivery is complete and payment has been processed, contractually obligated to complete this transaction and materially responsible for any malfeasance or loss. Failure to deliver to the proper recipient may result in forfeiture of your advance and bonus, criminal charges, and/or pursuit by mercenary reclamation teams. Mojave Express is not responsible for any injury or loss of life you experience as a result of said reclamation efforts.

Someone really wanted those fuzzy dice.

This is Johnson Nash's shop/home.

"I have some questions about your robot."

"The beat up old thing? What do you want to know?"

"Where did it come from?"

"A courier dropped it off a couple months back."

Hmm, mysterious.

"I got it working for a little while, but the darn thing pooped out. I haven't been able to get it up and running again. I was hoping to use it for some courier work, but that ain't gonna happen."

Sounds like a job for the protagonist!

"What is wrong with it?"

"Hell if I know. I don't think its serious, but my tinkering days are long gone."

"Do you mind if I try to fix it?"

"You're welcome to try. It's yours if you can get it working. If I had my way I'd dump it in the scrapyard in Novac and be done with the damn thing."

Before we check out that robot, let's chat with him about a few other topics.

"Why do you keep calling them Gangsters? I thought they were called Powder Gangers."

"Gangers, gansters, all sounds like trouble to me."

Insightful.

"How's Primm these days?"

"Got a new sheriff, as you know. Meyer's a bit rougher-hewn than I might've liked, but he seems like a good sort. So far, so good."

Not anything else of interest to talk about with him.

It's an Enclave Eyebot, remember those from Fallout 3?

Wonder what the Enclave is up to now...

Ah, right...

And they better stay that way.

We have a decent amount of repair, we should be able to fix it.

Damn it.

We'll be back later, once we get enough repair. Something I want to show off in Primm.

At first, I was rather confused at where everyone else in Primm lived. Aside from the Mojave Express building and the Vikki and Vance Casino, most of the other buildings are in various forms of disrepair. I don't believe I happened upon this area until my second playthrough or so.

This is where they live. In a bunch of shacks.

With nothing of interest in all of them.

So, let's try to get the casino open now. If you don't quick wait, it will take a rather long time to get the casino opened if you trigger the events at the earliest time possible.

We have to wait three days to trigger the event, so we wait right outside the casino.

If you've completed the sheriff sidequest for Primm, hopefully this will happen.

Oh great, I'm sure these will be totally reasonable people who won't try to harm us in any way, shape or form...

"Hey, just checking the place out. Now I'll just be on my way..."

"We don't take kindly to tourists on our turf. You're gonna need to pay a fine if you want to leave in one piece. 100 caps should cover it."

Speech check, go!

"[Speech 30] Your turf? I guess the news hasn't reached you yet. Primm has law again."

"[SUCCEEDED] Fuck, we lose again. We heard Primm was ripe for the picking, so figured we could come here and shakedown some of the suckers. We weren't expecting a sheriff here. We're just trying to put as many miles from the NCR as we can, we don't want to be anywhere near New Vegas when the Legion crosses the river."

Obviously the Legion aren't nice people.

"So that's it? You've resorted to robbing and raiding to solve your problems?"

"Our luck has gone south since we lost all of our money gambling in Vegas. We didn't go AWOL from duty to become raiders. But we've seen what the Legion does to people that survive their battles. We wanted to be be gone before the fighting starts. And we heard there may be some safety up in New Canaan."

*snicker*

"Why not just turn yourselves in?"

"No fucking way. We're deserters now, the NCR isn't going to throw us a ticker-tape parade for going home."

"I imagine the NCR doesn't deal with deserters kindly."

"Yeah, if we see the NCR, they'll be waiting for us with a bullet to the brain pan. So, what are we supposed to do, just run?"

"It would be safer to run and find someplace to hide."

"Maybe you're right. Come on, boys, lets get the hell out of here before the law shows up."

Without spoiling too much, if they ever do make it to New Canaan, they'll be in for quite the surprise.

So now that they're gone, the casino should be re-opened. In three days.

Before the casino opens back up, let's take a few items that we can find lying around.

This safe has some nice stuff in it.

There is this random safe in the rubble in the back of the place as well.

So now it is time to wait three more days again.

Now there are people running the tables, and someone running the counter. The first safe that we took that stuff from behind the counter would now be inaccessible if we didn't take the stuff beforehand.

Let's check out the casino a bit more.

No one runnning the bar still.

There is this room in the back.

So, I suppose there is one thing left to do now: Gamble all of our money away at the casino.

All of it.

Actually...no. Whenever I see a new update I just head straight for the last page.

I'm also considering using videos as supplementary side updates from time to time, as I did recently buy some better capturing software.
Oooh, that should be interesting, will you be providing commentary? ;D

Ah, right...

And they better stay that way.
You know that won't happen.

Nah, just for small things really. Like things that I can't really capture well with screenshots.

Man, I missed all this stuff on the casino.

BTW, I find gambling to be really had unless you have a really high luck stat. And then it's just piss easy.

Are you going to break the bank on all of the places later?

Certainly. I won't be spending too much time at all at the Vikki and Vance Casino in the next update because of that, I'll show it all off in one go.

You can still get the Vance's 9mm Submachine Gun even if you don't have the Science skill to work on Primm Slimm. It's a very good gun for low level characters.

Gambling is the one part of New Vegas I have yet to really try much. I played a couple games of blackjack, since that's about the only card game I know how to play. But even with a luck of 8, I lost.

But somehow, I'm really good at Pazaak in KotOR I and II.

My father was a bit of a card shark in his college days, so he taught me a few games.

My brother helped me with the Black Jack, because he's really good at it. It took a while with a luck of 7, but I finally managed it.

Also, wasn't Pazaak really broken in KotOR I? Or am I thinking of something else?

It's fine in KotOR II. In the first game, however, you always have to make the first move. Since the person who goes first is more likely to get a higher score first (and have to use cards from his personal deck first), that's a pretty big disadvantage. There's more guesswork when you go first, and more reacting tactically when you go second.

They fixed this in KotOR II very simply: alternate who has to make the first move.

Yeah, but I'd rather just go about getting it through the science skill check on a separate character. Don't want to do everything on this single playthrough of course.

This as been a good walktrough, and it has been fun, but I just have one question: why do you think Meyers ending is the best? I mean, with the NCR, Primm gets law, protection, trading, police and taxes (not that bad, considering everything). With Meyers, they get Old West justice, that is, "do wrong, and i´ll shoot ya, no evidences or trial needed". It really seems of to me, considering you can make Meyers a citizen of Primm, saving him from death when the NCR conquers the prison, and still have the NCR ruling around.

I guess I should have rephrased that to "Best ending you can get on an independent playthrough". NCR leaves town if you do the Independent route, and nothing really changes. Really, I suppose all of the non-Legion related endings are good endings for Primm, with some downsides in order to make things seem not quite as perfect.

And personally, I always thought that under the NCR they would lose a bit of freedom from not being independent anymore. *shrug*

I just feel that the NCR is expanding too quickly, "annexing" areas before they even have an understanding of the place and is not paying enough attention to their internal affairs. But I guess we'll see some of that in this playthrough.

Well, here is the result of me fucking around with FRAPS and WMM for about 3 hours Sunday morning. It's a pretty bad video, but I think eventually I'll get used to it. It's unlisted because the video really has no relevance outside this LP.

I don't think I'm going to make a lot of videos though.

Not bad. I think you'll get the hang of it pretty soon.

Yeah, the gambling takes quite a while on the console version. At least for the roulette. That's the reason I just went with Black-Jack

EDIT: Oh, by the way, will you be picking up Lady Killer and/or Confirmed Bachelor this time through the game?

Yeah, probably. I usually get one or the other, as the extra damage boost is nifty. Though, I always get the perks that increase the max amount skill points right away, so that might not be for a bit.

This update is rather short one, not much to do in between Primm and the Mojave Outpost. (Especially considering we visited Mojave Outpost before) It's kind of at a point where I couldn't find a decent place to leave off at.

[HEADING=1]Back on the Road[/HEADING]
We're pretty much done with Primm. We've seen all that we can see, and we've done all that we can do (Right now at any rate) so it's time to move on. Let's check out the casino real quick though.

Conveniently, my last save was in the casino. So, we're going to do a bit of gambling. We don't want to break the bank and get kicked out until a future update. (When we have like 10 Luck so that this will be extremely easy)

So at this desk we can exchange our caps for chips. If we had any, we could also exchange NCR dollars and Legion coins for chips as well, but we don't have any. Let's get like, 100 chips.

Caps for chips is a 1:1 ratio.

So now there are people actually running the tables. You don't have to use the tables run by the dealers, if I remember correctly, any will do.

Once you've earned enough in the casino, this guy will give you prizes and other nice things. That is until you hit a certain limit, then he pretty much says "Fuck off" and bans you from gambling any more. Different casinos have different limits to how many chips you can win there.

Let's try blackjack first.

If you aren't dicking around and seriously looking for caps, blackjack is probably your best bet. With high luck (9 to 10 range) you'll win almost every time and make money fairly quickly.

Even with 8 Luck we have a fairly good chance of winning most of the time, even though I'm rather blindly mashing the Hit button. (More apparent in the video than the screenshots)

Alright, so we did fairly well on that hand. I have something to show off here, first let me reload the game.

This notification pops up if you reload and go straight to a gambling mini-game. Theoretically, it's supposed to stop save scumming to get tons of caps.

For some reason the NPC's in here will talk about Primm accepting NCR help, when we clearly put Meyers in charge. I don't know why this happens, it's just a weird bug.

This is the slot machine payout list. If you have a high amount of luck, if you get lucky you can break the bank in one go. People with not so high luck should just avoid it altogether.

This is roulette. I have no fucking idea how roulette works (Okay, I can kind of guess how it works but my knowledge is limited) and even if I did, I'd probably tell you to stick to Blackjack. Each round takes much too long to do, and there are a lot more variables in roulette.

Alright, so that's it for gambling. For now at least. Once we get to Vegas there will be much more gambling, don't you worry.

We're outside of Primm. It's finally time to leave this little town, and probably not return for a long time. (However long it takes for us to get our repair to like 60 or so and we might return once we can crack hard locks) We're on our way to the Mojave Outpost, which is a place we already have visited, so I won't show the trip there again.

There are a couple of areas of interest around Primm however.

There is this drive in with absolutely nothing of note whatsoever. Before you correct me, that particular Drive-In is outside of Nipton.

The other place I wanted to show off is behind Primm.

More Jackals to fight.

Alright, so after that short distraction we continue where we were going.

It's very hard to navigate this area because of the jagged rocks and invisible walls. So many invisible walls.

I realize I haven't really talked much about the weapons like I did in Fallout 3. That's solely because there are a lot more weapons in this game, but I'll work on it. This is the Cowboy Repeater. It's kind of the middle ground between the Varmint Rifle and this game's Hunting Rifle.

It has a pretty high rate of fire, but it takes awhile to reload as your character has to hand load every single bullet into it. I like it though, it's rather satisfying to use at the very least.

So obviously these raiders killed all of the Prospectors inside. The prospectors aren't actually miners, they're basically scavengers.

More Jackals in here.

There is some pretty decent loot down here, if you're wondering why I decided to come down here.

Someone went through all the trouble of hanging these rather festive looking lights up on the ceiling of the cave.

These raiders have no respect for all the hard work that person must have put into hanging up these lights. Ah well, maybe we can clear it out and have other people inhabit the place. If you kill all of the Jackals in the place, new prospectors will move in, and so will an unnamed merchant. Huh. Never knew that before.

There are more Jackals in the small building in the cave to the right.

The Jackal's head goes flying up and plops behind the dressers.

So we've cleared out the entire area of Jackals.

Another star cap.

Must have sucked to work here.

There are some nice things in this gun case right here.

This is the room farthest back into the shack.

So we teleport (fast travel) back to Mojave Outpost. We're going to do a quick sidequest for someone there and come right back.

We chat with this guy who has the ridiculous moustache.

This guy's voice totally doesn't match how he looks.

"And if you're passing through, you picked a bad time. Road north has gone to hell, and if I let a caravan through, they won't make it."

Erm, the road north is fine. Actually pretty decent in comparison to some of the other roads in the Mojave.

"Any way I can help?"

"Help? No, look, I apprec... You know, what, yes, I could use the help. And you look like you can handle yourself. I need to get the caravans moving again, the means clearing a path north. There's too much crawling the asphalt up the road to allow it."

It was clear when we came here.

"Sounds like a deal."

"Thanks, I appreciate it. Come back here when you're done, I might accidentally "lose" some supplies to pay you with."

It's a really easy job and you get some decent stuff for doing it, so why not help him?

So the ants we have to fight are down this road. Remember when they were completely clear when we came here? Filled with ants now.

TL;DR - Lots of ants died.

"You mentioned a reward before?"

"No, I mentioned you might accidentally get supplied, and I meant it. Not allowed to contract mercenaries at the Outpost. Still, a requistion form or two can get lost, and they're not going to come check... so here you go, just between us. Still, a requisition form or two can get lost, and they're not going to come check... so here you go, just between us."

For the kind of work we did, this is a great reward actually. A Service Rifle, some armor piercing ammo, a couple of weapon repair kits and a Caravan Lunch.

Few more NPC's to chat with here.

This is the bar/barracks area.

Lacey serves as the Outposts bartender but also the shop keeper as well.

"Anything you can tell me about the Outpost?"

"Not too much, lot of caravans going nowhere. Lot of troopers going nowhere, too. Few prospectors here and there, but... they don't do more than stink up the place. Everybody's backed up here. You think it'd be good for business, but most of the traders are tight with the caps, even the larger caravan outfits."

This is where all the soldiers sleep, you can sleep here too if you like. There are way more beds than soldiers in this outpost.

"No, only looking around."

"Well, keep those eyes up and turning - or I'll set 'em spinning. Got no time for gawkers... or anyone looking for something I ain't selling."

The logical thing to do would be leave at this point, probably.

"How about a drink instead?"

"How about a drink? How about a couple, is what you mean. Drinking to forget, and it's only getting me mad instead. Whiskey always gets my temper up - now more than ever. Drinking used to cause all sorts of trouble back West - before I punched enough people, that is, and they learned to lay low when the whiskey hit."

"What are you trying to forget?"

"Lost my caravan heading north, the driver burned to ash - and they didn't even take the cargo, they just burned that, too."

"Why would they do that?"

"My guess is Legion, they're trying to cut NCR's supply line... and the Mojave Outpost is proof. Got us locked up tighter than a New Vegas virgin. No caravans in, out, and just try arguing with Jackson about it. "Roads aren't safe," he says."

Come on, it's just a bunch of giant ants. They aren't fucking Deathclaws or anything, they're not a threat.

"No shit, you washed-out old fuckup, I dind't need a Brotherhood Scribe to tell me that."

"I've met him. Nice impersonation."

"Yeah, he's been with NCR so long all he can see is the worst outcome of everything - so he doesn't do anything. Jackson won't let me head north, it's not safe... and even though my caravan's gone, my caravan papers are keeping me here. So if you came here for work, my advice? Go find the Crimson Caravan branch, south of Vegas. They can help you out."

You may remember that Ringo, back from Goodsprings, worked for the Crimson Caravan. We have to do what Cass tells us to do before we can continue her storyline, so I guess we will just leave it at that for now.

"Already cleared the roads for Jackson."

"No shit? Drink's on me, then. Still, not like I'm going anywhere. Caravan title's still keeping me here, even though it's dead and gone."

"I'll be going."

"You take care now."

One last NPC to chat with, she gives us a sidequest which pertains to the next area we're going to visit.

How does everyone seem to know that we're a Courier?

On a side not, this character's model is extremely glitchy. Either her hair is glitching through her hat sometimes or her face through her glasses. This time it's both, as you can clearly tell.

"Depends on the work."

"I think there's trouble in Nipton - no traffic from there on the roads, and while I can explain that away, the smoke from the town I can't."

They're probably just having a barbecue.

"I'm sure it's been hit - what I need to know is if they survived it. Might be Powder Gangers with all that smoke in the air. If there's anybody left, they'd be in the Nipton Town Hall. Go there, check it out, let me know what you find."

"I'll do it."

"All right. Look at you, all fired up and ready to go. Wish the others around here had that kind of attitude. Listen - I don't want you getting killed ofr this, so if you head there and run into trouble, I'm asking for eyes and ears, not your life. All right?"

So just a short little recon mission, got it. Things can't be too bad in Nipton, right?

Oh by the way, while getting screens for a side update, I levelled up. Rather than keep them there, for convenience sake, I'll put it here.

Our main skills are coming along quite nicely, wouldn't you agree?

I always get the perks that give the most possible skill points right at the start, just a personal preference of mine. I think that's it for them, so we should be getting into some more interesting ones after this.
So, how long did it take you to open up the Vikki and Vance Casino? Did you know what to do from the start, or did it just randomly happen?

This update is rather short one, not much to do in between Primm and the Mojave Outpost. (Especially considering we visited Mojave Outpost before) It's kind of at a point where I couldn't find a decent place to leave off at.

[HEADING=1]Back on the Road[/HEADING]

Add it to the list of things I missed in NV. I didn't gamble till I got to Vegas. And I spent a couple hours trying to break the bank there. I had a normal luck of 5, but I got implanted, and wore a nightgown that gave a bonus to luck, so I won about half the time.

Roulette is a waste of time.

So I take it you like the option to gamble in NV?
