Seriously though, his growths aren?t very good so he?s not great in the long run. He?s a crutch character for new players and or for use on the hardest mode.

Our third and final cavalier of the game, Lowen. Unlike Sain (who?s strong) or Kent (who?s fast), Lowen is
Defensive. He?ll can cap HP and def if you?re lucky and his resistance is good, but his offenses are
sub-par. He?s like a light mobileTankish unit, good for frontline duty, but not for killing.

Rebecca?s like wil, but sacrifices defenses and some strength for speed and luck.

The only other Rapier in the game is in chapter 28, so save it?s uses.

Fan reaction was mixed. mainly due to the fact that they changed the combat to be more real-time (A lot like Dragon Age:Origins actually). Square also went with a more serious, politically motivated story. I found it to be quite good, and so did most of the fanbase. But the detractors were extremely loud, and incredibly annoying. Resembled the rage at Bioware over DA2 actually, just because they took the turn based system and mixed it up a little. Also it is very slow to start, with the first six hours being kinda the tutorial phase. It took me 120 hours to finish, but that's partly because I did every bit of side content. So.... yeah good game.

Although with Dragon Age, there was the complaint of "this game feels rushed and unpolished. I didn't see as much complaining about the combat (though it was certainly there).

All my LPs are and will be done using emulators and using built in screen capture technology.

So... still not entirely sure what to do. I have windows 7 on my Computer so I am not sure how to proceed here. i would really like to get my hands on some of the Fire emblem games. Is the current lets play one available on emulator? I remember playing it as a kid and would love to get a copy somehow.

Pretty much everything is availible for emulation on any handheld DS or before & any console N64 of before. Really any system with the large majority of games are 2D has a good emulator for it. New ones like the DS are a little buggy, but otherwise they're good.

If there is a emulator for a system, just about every game for that system is on it, barring newer systems.

here's how to work the thing.

1. make a file named "emulation" or something obvious like that
2. inside "emulation", put a file named "DS" or "GBA" or whatever system your working with.
3. Download your emulator (it will be zipped file) and place it in "DS" or "GBA" or whatever
4. Extract the emulator from it's file (if you don't have a file extractor, download 7zip, its's free.)

emulators I use:

NES: Nestopia
SNES: ZSNES
GB: BGB
GBA: Virtual Boy Advanced (VBA)

You seem to have everything under control. Visit fantasyanime.com in their VG emulation for newbies section for help picking visual stuff. It's all built in to the emulator.

PS. spacebar fast forwards the game
PPS. F12 screen cap creates files called "(game name)_1", 2, 3 etc. When you close the emulator, it starts at 1 again, overwriting any previous pictures named 1, 2, 3, etc.
PPPS. Save States. Press shift + F1-F10 to save, F1-F10 to load. Save & load a game at any point. DON'T USE IT TO REPLACE HARD SAVING THOUGH. Save states are .SGM, save files are .SAV

I always chose Bartre over Dorcas myself. I arena abuse him against Soldiers and Knights since they almost never double him. I support him with Canas since I bench Dorcas after getting Bartre.
