Let's Talk About Facebook

I have a Facebook account, but I keep my friends list to a minimum. Basically, only my actual friends and acquaintances. I only have 58 people on my friends list.

I also am the type to keep it open in a tab constantly. I also do this my my YouTube subscription feed.

Far as I see it, it's OK. Good way to make sure you don't lose contact with someone. And now that Chat is more-or-less bug-free, it's a good way to communicate.

I mostly use Facebook for one thing, and that's to quickly and easily keep in touch with friends and peers. I chat with long-distance family through there, plan meetups with friends there, join other people's meetups through there, have conversations about this and that, and my university class and activity groups organize themselves heavily through there. That's pretty much what it is to me, a chat service that I use mainly to keep in touch with people I only ever catch on there anyway!
