Is it just me that by the 4th DLC of New Vegas your character will reach level 50 if they jeep with the 5 up every DLC. I think that its a little to high. It just seems like the last 10 levels will be inpossible because you are most likely done with all the quest. So what do you guys think?

You would be surprised by the ways of people who can constantly earn XP in games, ie Killing boars in the forest (cookies for reference!)

Well, I'm level 41 and I still haven't discovered everything in the wasteland, plus each DLC usually gives you enough experience to level up 4-6 times depending on how much of it you complete so I don't think reaching level 50 should be much of a problem.

I'm more concerned about how this devalues the high INT character build. More levels = more skill points.

Therefore making high INT builds less unnecessary for making a large number of skills hit 100.

It's not impossible. If you play through all the DLC's, you'll get plenty of XP to hit the cap.

I hit it about halfway through Old World Blues. For me the cap was 45, since I have all the DLC's.

I think that there is plenty of experience available from questing (including all DLC) as well as killing, but I think that once you hit level thirty, you have all the skill points and perks you need, really. But I still think the level cap being raised is a good thing, because hitting the glass ceiling in an RPG really puts me off whether I needed to be stronger or not.

That's the South Park episode about WoW

EDIT: Ninja'd

OT: I think I'd be one of those people who would just keep grinding until I got to level 50 anyway, and it seems most of my friends are doing the same, being in the high 40's now.

There is this weird glitch in my current playthrough that to my knowledge will allow me to level up indefinably I only have one add-on and patch 1.6 I'm currently at level 41. On topic 50? even with the way I level I'm not going to reach that

I don't see any problem with it. There's more than enough things to do to reach the initial level cap of 30 in New Vegas, and each DLC so far seems to have added enough content to reach the next 5 levels up it has given access to, provided you take your time and explore thoroughly rather than just rush through doing the bare minimum.

Make Love, Not Warcraft.
OP: Grinding, WRPG style. Seriously, I grind a lot when playing that game. Just another excuse to.

You're reference is to that South Park episode about World of Warcraft right, or were they making a reference to something else at the time?

Dead Money is a great place to get lots of levels as the Ghost people give like 50xp each and are once you have the bear trap fist relativly easy to kill, as long as you dont get blown up

I have all the DLC's and am level forty seven. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be able to do that.

The man with three levels of Lord Death disagrees. I roam out into the wasteland and kill, alot.
