Think of a world where the eyes on your head meant nothing, but what from floating just behind and above you was what you really saw. Could you handle the lifestyle from seeing this position? What would you have trouble doing from such a perspective?

Imagine the practice you'd need to accurately pick up that cup of coffee every morning. At least if you'd didn't do it slowly.

And this has just happened when you woke up one morning after a good first-person ________.
No you cannot zoom in and out (unless you use binoculars or a scoped gun), and rotating the camera will require your head to turn.

It'd be hell, because my body would be in the way of the body of the beautiful girl in front of me. =(

Also, what you mentioned. Picking up things would be a living nightmare.

If that happened I would have to get a GIANT chin and go from chest high wall to chest high wall, I can't live like that.

Life in third person?

No thanks. I'd don;t think I could live in a world where sex would always be obstructed by myself...
[small]...unless I could rotate the camera...[/small]

Sure you can do that.
EDIT: Seems that's a main problem in a third-person life.

Seeing as I would have never experienced life in first person... I think I would think it was normal

Lol this is what I thought, if my perception is right behind me can I look elsewhere to see things without actually seeing them with my body?

I would build a lair filled with chest high walls.
And id get a better figure.. That way I might be able to stand staring at myself.
But id have to be able to rotate the camera.

I doubt I'd be able to cope with it. There are too many things to think about.
But if that's all I'd known, then it would probably be something that I wouldn't even need to think about...

It'd be pretty annoying, even though I always picture everything in 3rd person for some reason.

A thought occured where typing on the computer would be extremely hard to do unless you can do it while staring at the screen. I guess it would be the end of the internet for me.

could you zoom in the camera? could you rotate it? if so, it would have no down sides.

I think being able to cycle between the two on demand (1st/3rd) would be cool. I mean, how would I play video games with my head in the way?
