Screw the pessimists, do what you can to help each other out. Little things add up to great piles of little things.

Live it the way you like, don't let anyone tell you how you should live it. If I enjoy wasting my time, then am I really doing that?

Well, If you must, call me Atlas, for when your world falls apart, I must carry you.

Greek Mythology FTW. I usually say this to girls, but I've always been the guy to pick up my friend when they get to feeling down and out.

This is the way it was meant to be.

I live by those words, and it's helped form who I am.

Live to enjoy. Simple, but effective. There is no reason to exist, so enjoyment is the only logical purpose. It's stupidly hard to explain exactly what I mean, which is ironic because it's really very simple.

You've only got one life, and when it's over, it's over.
Make the most of it and have fun.

my life philosophy is summed up in marcus aurelius' meditations, which is literally like my bible - i read a little of it every day for an extra boost.

i also love & agree with this quote:
'beware the irrational, however seductive. shun the 'transcendent' and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. don't be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. picture all experts as if they were mammals. never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. suspect your own motives, and all excuses. do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.' - christopher hitchens

Always have some Arizona Ice Tea in the fridge (my most important rule in life).
Other than that, life is kind of like diffusion. On average, a person gets nowhere, since they have an equal probability of moving in any direction, thus canceling out and ending up where they started. But when looked at specifically, one being does move places, thus making the entire calculation somewhat counter-intuitive and quite difficult to grasp. When all else is equal, people tend to spread out to achieve equal density in a given volume. But there are other factors such as polarity and electromagnetic forces that determines the concentration, throwing another factor into the calculation. But alas, humans are not completely soluble, so we end up with a lot of substance at the lowest altitudes, becoming less and less concentrated as the altitude increases. In order to increase solubility, the heat has to be increased or the solution has to be stirred.
Humans have low bonding energy, so any vigorous stirring or excessive heating of the solution will cause them to break down into free radicals, possibly making the solution somewhat toxic. Most of them are also polar so they may form molecules containing a few individuals through strong hydrogen bonds (the polar ones also dissolve easier). These molecules tend to reassemble themselves when forcefully separated. The non-polar ones are fewer in number, stand out quite a bit, and are generally in atomic instead of molecular form. Finally, despite the low bonding energy, humans have a lot of potential energy. So if heated to high enough temperature (or stirred vigorously enough) the solution has a tendency to combust violently. The amount of energy required to cause the solution to combust is high enough to cause a lot of humans to break down into free radicals, thus the combustion will spread toxic substances to large distances. If such a combustion occurs, evacuate the lab immediately!

Just my theory :p
Apologies for the long, rant-ish post.
Nice. I liked it.
Very good job.
My philosophy, you (probably won't) ask?
Never Compromise.

There is no purpose or reason for us to be here, and we can't be guaranteed anything better than complete oblivion with our existence completely forgotten after we're dead. We should therefore do everything we can to maximize our enjoyment of the time we're given.

Treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself.
Remember that respect should be earned and not given.
Be careful of who you regard as heroes as they might be different than how u see them and if life gives you lemons throw them back and show life who is boss!

Trust nobody and interact with nobody. The only reason anyone speaks to anyone is because they want something. It doesn't have to be a material thing, they could just want someone to talk to or need attention. But that is still something and you shouldn't have to provide it.

I try to follow the Buddhist Five Precepts [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Five_Precepts] as good as possible:

- Don't kill
- Don't steal
- Don't lie
- Don't act in sexual misconduct
- Don't do drugs (that lead to loss of mindfulness)
