Read or Draw for Creativity's sake. How can you feel empty without an Xbox? Write Poetry or sing along to some music. Paint, hang with friends. There are multitudes of things to do rather than play games.
And don't whine so much.

I awoke this morning with one thing on my mind: Breakfast.

Not only did I want to eat food, but I wanted to eat food that tasted good. Perhaps a McDonald's Breakfast Burrito or the Rise n' Shine meal from Bob Evan's, but neither were delivered. Instead, I received a wonderful serving of (13) Oreo cookies, which I guess dissolved my hunger, but left me quite unsatisfied.

Next, I went to the Dining Room to explore the Internet, but I was again left unsatisfied. Recently, my IP had been banned CyberNations and had found that NationStates2 is utterly terrible.

Naturally, my next choice for entertainment was to waste my life away improving on my pixel-controlling skills. Maybe I felt unsatisfied with how life was going and felt the need to embrace Sam Fisher's rock hard body, or maybe I was compelled to tell Jack Thompson to fuck off, but I definitely needed some video-gamage.

I opened the door to my room to discover a lone Wii sitting under my TV.
Fuck. My brother had borrowed my XBox and left me with a shitty little piece of shit. Shit.

Needless to say, I was fucking pissed.

The day was ruined. I was forced to enjoy my own piss-ant life. My day consisted of attempting to play Goldeneye, adjusting my fantasy team, and reading the first two chapters of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

The point of this rediculously boring story you are forced read because your life sucks as much as mine is that, life without video-games fucking blows.
1. No work. Yippee!
2. Goldeneye 007. Yippee!!
3. The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Yippee!!!

That sounds like a perfect day to me...

Because he's an x-box fanboy, they all hate the wii
I like the Wii and I'm pretty attached to my Xbox.

In reply you really should go to the gym or something. Reading Hitchhiker's Guide sounds like fun to me though...

Way to generalize.

My entire life, I have been a Nintendo Fanboy and actually hated XBox. With the dawn of the Wii, I simply became bored. Something about the casual games just didn't hook me. I'm not saying they are bad, they just didn't do anything special for me. I switched to the 360. I'm not a fanboy, I simply prefer it.

weebl? bob?
Oh and if those are names then you should write them with a capital, sorry I couldn't resist either.
Unless they're actually supposed to spell them uncapitalized? Maybe you should resist next time.

Really? I'm not an Xbox fanboy, and I don't like the Wii. I think it's an interesting little console but there's absolute shit to play on it.

Dear god man! You let a console consume your entire life. Get a PC, DS, or PS3. Also eat healthier foods because when your only breakfast choices are between oreos and fast food you are seriously headed for an early grave.

I feel the same way as the topic creator, except replace "Xbox" with "Outside" (stupid snow). Seriously, if you have no work, or other commitments (sports/martial arts, etc), and for whatever reason, you can't hang out with friends (they're busy, out of town, etc) just go outside. Go for a walk, or run or something. Unless you're in the same situation as I am (road/sidewalks are deep under snow), then you're screwed.

Interesting breakfast choice..

Anyway, life without video gaming would be different, but not stupid. I can live without it, but I don't want to. If video gaming suddenly dissapeared completely, I'd just have to find some other hobby. Luckily, I have music to back it up. I spend half of my free time playing games, and the other half writing and listening to music.

You call 13 oreos and trash-food breakfast???
Dear Lord! What happend to a balanced plate of Carbs, Proteins, Fat, Minerals and Vitamins?
I don't want to sound like your mom, but EAT YOUR VEGETABLES!

Joking aside, you should try to see that there's more videogaming than an Xbox.
The Wii has its share of interesting titles, plus you have a PC at home? Can't you game on that?
Seems to me that from now on you need to do a little bit of pre-emptive planning when it comes to both gaming and eating habits. When I'm pretty sure I want a good breakfast I make sure that I have what I need before going to sleep. That way when I wake up I don't have to scatter for food like an upset hungry hyena.

If you don't want to game on the Wii and your PC isn't that great, just play internet flash games. Those things are addicting.

Your diet concerns me.

And if you really cared about gaming, you'd still play withe the Wii. And if you really don't want the Wii, sell it, man. You can probably get full price for it on ebay.
Seriously go buy a good game, if you have a Wii then you should at least have one good game for it. Plus if you are really bored go see a movie or rent one. If that doesn't work then just go outside and see what happens where you go, find a friend, find a girl friend, boy friend, a zombie, something.

Also have you

Dude it's okay to go on a gaming hiatus for a while, that way you can do something new and when you come back to gaming there'll be some new games out to buy.
