Yea if I dodge it I just try my hardest to instantly deflect it with my characters HP attack (each character has an attack to deflect his flare). Or I air dash the fuck away to recover my footing and deflect that flare right back at him thus applying some pressure on him, it's especially fun in an Emporer Vs Emporer match. The benefits of that deflected flare are AWESOME seeing as it will hit for as much as THEIR brave.Kinichie said:That is the one. It is his ground one that is more annoying as that one follows you for a little time unlike his blue air one where it follows for a moment then stops. meaning if you rush him and then dodge the attack, you still can't hit him as a melee character due to a giant orange ball of flame chasing you. Doesn't last long, but in that time he's thrown down some mines or run away.-Seraph- said:Although I'm guessing you mean when the asshole likes to spit out a flare point blank in your face WHILE you try and rush him down, that can be annoying.
Chaos is a *****, but in my eyes he's still a decently challenging boss compared to other fighting games. Divine Judgement (the one you mentioned) is a pain and I do hate it when he spams it. It's a finicky attack alright but it should easy with Zidane seeing as he excels in the air. I've fucked up on that attack several times with Golbez because of his minor drifting when he stops, but thankfully I learned to just immediately cast Gravity force the second he casts that attack so I end up teleporting and giving him a face full of dark energy.
Although level 130-150 Chaos is still the biggest whore in the game...and his stupid ass Shinryuu summon. So many nightmarish attempts to beat him and so many failures because he pretty much 1 hit KOs you. But that's super bosses in survival mode for ya, I'm kinda hoping they raise the CPU opponent level cap to 200 just for shits and let us fight CPUs that high in quick battle instead of being confined to Duel Colosseum.
