This collectors edition is the reason I'm getting a PS3 for myself.

And I shall make so many C&C style levels that I will have made a name for myself.

I don't even want the bookends, or a large portion of that DLC (other than Jak and Daxter. I miss those games.) but seriously, it comes with a real life sackboy!

A 7" Sackboy plush would cost at least the $20 your paying to get everything in this bundle. Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Nah, the Flaming Helmet becomes a lot less special when you see that you can have a lightning effect instead, for just playing the game.

I knew Bungie would pull a stunt like that, now I get to laugh in my friends face because he only bought the Legendary Edition for just that.

If you were one of the only people who are getting the Legendary Edition for all the other stuff, I salute you sir.

I didn't really care much for the flames (the box and statue did it for me), but IMO Fire > Lightning in coolness. Tell me, where did you hear about the lightning?

Bungie Weekly update showed a few pictures for the armour perms on Reach.
One of the new accessory's you can have on your armour is an Armour Effect, which presumably is where the Flaming Helmet will go.
There was a picture of what appeared to be a lightning effect and another of a swarm effect.
