Glad to hear a positive response to the video everyone!

Someone was asking about my decklist, which isn't actually goblins. I play RDW at Friday Night Magic at Yellowjacket now with some pretty decent success. Its a fun and straightforward build, and I never get tired of flattening $80 Jace, The Mind Sculptors with my 25¢ commons and $4 rares.

......you have no idea how often that happens to me. No the whole color-changing mid-game nonsense. But I have a friend who just crushes me in 3 turns no matter what color I play. But we play casual and type 1. I suppose that makes it my fault for letting him run 4 sneak attacks and 2 darksteel colossi.

Run Snapbacks and Dazes for that silliness if you're running Blue. Once he dumps his hand trying to power out the colossus, you bounce the colossus back and...he can't play it until he finds more mana.

Most cheat-into-play decks rely on a very tight/fast mana curve. Daze can kill that.

OT: It's a shame that Wizards is flat-out raping their customers now with this Mythic-rare nonsense. Their latest set has virtually no good cards at any rarity other than Rare and Mythic.

It's why I don't play competitively anymore. Standard is an endless arms race.

I feel like just like Alex (has no direct relation with both our names being Alex): I've been beating the crap out of my friends at Magic recently, and now they kinda sorta hate me.

Doesn't really help them that one of them is playing oldschool cards, and the other one is using decks I made.

I need to get in on some FNM. Flame Slash FTW.

I think my favourite decks of mine is an R-G-B Allies deck, an Eldrazi Spawn deck (no Eldrazi, just the spawn) and a friggin' weird deck where all I do is steal your creatures. That last one leads to some wacky games.

Also, if anyone wants to know, my favorite deck types are Izzet from the Ravnica block, and that R/B theme deck from Morningtide. I didn't even need to add a single card to that second one and it's already one of my best decks.

I also have a rainbow sliver deck. It is the definition of dushebaggery. I love it like a child.

My R/U deck is like that, it has an Avatar that does it each upkeep and several instants and sorceries. Eldrazi tokens with Raid Bombardment are a huge source of pain for my friends, especially when I have multiple.

Thanks for the help, but I play red.

If you're clever, you can still play those cards without running a single Island since they're "pitch cards" (you can remove a blue card from your hand rather than paying the mana cost).
You need other blue cards, but if you run hybrid red/blue cards, it can work.

What might work better: Try running Stingscourger. It's a Red Bounce Goblin out of Time Spiral.
Also, the card Gone from Dead // Gone (split card) also gives red bounce.

For artifacts, Pithing Needle naming Sneak Attack completely kills his combo, and those can be played for one colorless.

Are you just using the Eldrazi spawn for quick mana then? What are you using for damage? Whatever that one creature is that pumps the spawn? Can't remember the name of the creature because I don't use Eldrazi due to someone using all the good stuff I pulled.

What colour is the creature control deck? I wouldn't mind seeing that decklist please It seems like an interesting combination.
