While sneaking up on a Giant one time the game glitched and a mammoth appeared right in front of me and shot straight up into the sky. It appeared a few seconds later falling to the ground, died, and fell over.

Yeah I had them all after me over a chicken kill my first time too, and I sneak attack shot it.

Earlier today I had probably my most enjoyable fight in Skyrim. I was fighting a pretty badass Drougr overlord thing (he actually had a name - was part of a quest I think - but don't remember it. It was in the Dragon Temple pretty much inside Ivarstead).

He basically teleports to various places within the room, conjuring two decoys to annoy you while he fires arrows relentlessly. One of his shots disarmed me (sending my sword flying away) and I'm left with a crappy mace and health that needs constant attention from a fast healing spell. As I'm drastically running around the room trying to find my sword, I hit the sprint button to make it harder for him to hit me. Literally just as I sprint, My sword kciks up from the floor and I press X instinctively, catching it in mid-air.

I was amazed. It literally looked like my character kicked the sword up from the floor and caught it like a no-nonsense ass-kicker. That was the time I finally killed the bastard after he'd defeated me 5 times without even breaking a sweat.

It made me lol so fucking much.

I did a Dark Brotherhood mission and the only witness to my crime was the 3 chickens there. I could not fast travel as there were enemies nearby. So I killed the chickens and poof I could fast travel.

Nothing better than getting stealth kills on chickens so I can get home.

-Thinks to self "Huh...they're herding animals, maybe they won't attack if I don't piss them off"
-Walks up to Giant while tapping "E" and praying for success.
-Lands somewhere near Solitude.....

There was also the time a dragon showed up and proceeded to attack me when a Giant showed up and started attacking the dragon. As soon as the dragon was dead the Giant came after me and that's how I started running away for about 10 minutes with the Giant right behind me the whole time.

I'm climbing over the mountains north of Windhelm trying to get to the city. As I'm working my way down the other side, I find that I'm actually quite close to the top of the city's wall. I think "maybe I can actually get into the city without going through the instance". I jump, hit an invisible wall, fall 25 feet and die.

On my way to Windhelm travelling by horse i happened upon a group of icewolves. Naturally they started chasing me, but i felt like i didn't have the time to dismount and lop their heads of, so i simply kept running. However one of the wolves wouldn't stop chasing me. So i started zigzagging my way down the road, jumping over every obstacle i could find. The wolf however didn't fall for any tricks i tried until i jumped over a log and he somehow got tangled up in my horses' legs mid-air, which sent him flying a fair distance and killing him when he landed. Took me completely by surprise.

and then turning the puter off when I thought about how insignificant my character would be if the giant had killed me and had been as childish.

When I first started playing I spent a while testing out the jump button and every object in the game was fair-jumpable-game. But one time I tried to jump over a barrel and must foot must of nicked it and glitched because I blinked and suddenly my character shouted "ow!" and I was on the side of a mountain several hundred feet up that was probably a couple miles away.

Chickens actually count as townsfolk, like if you were to kill someone and the chicken saw it'd be a witness.

I got sneak-attacked by a dragon.

Well, it didn't sneak attack me so much as land behind me and eat my face before I even realised it was there.

Eh, not much beyond what everyone else has done. Attacking giants and mammoths at a low level, pushing people off of cliffs with my fantastic voice, etc.

I seriously have to get off of all these Skyrim forums. I have so much studying to do, and this game isn't helping!

My favorite funny moment thus far was my marriage and the subsequent few minutes.

I was just about to start up a new character, having done everything I wanted to do with my mage. The last thing I wanted to do, however, was get gay-married. So I got the amulet thing and went to Onmund in the college (incidentally, it occured to me later that I'm playing a much older character and am also the archmage of the college where he is a student - inappropriate relationship!). When I went to do the marriage ceremony, while locked into one of those semi-cutscene situations, Onmund just fucking walks out of the temple as the rings are being handed over (this happened to a friend with another NPC too - that is one seriously awkward bug Bethesda).

So I went to the college to see if he was in his usual place and he was. So he left in the middle of our wedding and then traveled to the opposite side of the country. I'm willing to put up with a lot of bugs in a game the size of Skyrim, but that's a pretty terrible one, so I was understandably a bit unhappy.

So I talk to him and he asks where we should live. I respond Solitude and he leaves through the door of the dormitory, presumably to go to Solitude. I follow through the door to fast travel there.

And that's when the dragon descended on the college.

We consummated our marriage by killing a dragon together.

So, a funny moment to share. Playing Skyrim earlier, managed to get the entirety of Whitefall after me, guards would attack me on sight with no chance of yielding - since this was very near the beginning of the game for me I had to run from every town I'd yet discovered as soon as the guards would spot me. Which was about half a mile given I'd chosen heavy armor and had no aptitude in sneaking. So, what might you ask, was my crime? So heinous that gave every guard within 30 miles license to cut me down in the most brutal and direct way possible upon seeing half an inch of me go by?


I killed a chicken. I can imagine what my tombstone would've said: "Here lies Syril, murderist of poultry. Oblivion take you, blasphemer!" or something. Maybe it was just funny at the time, though... (=

Anyone else for funny moments?

Haha this happened the first time I played also. I decided I'd kill the town cow, cause, well why not? I didn't realise it was sacred or something cause the whole town unanimously wanted to kill me... and succeeded.

I went to Riverwood and seen a dragon swoop down,go nom-nom-nom on the blacksmith,and then just fly away, not even caring I was there.

I was walking along side a river when a dragon decided to attack, right when it landed about 30 mudcrabs come out of the river (apparently there were following me for a long time in the water) and attack the dragon. when the dragon took off again they swarmed and killed me, keep in mind i was a pretty low level

Mine was when I was going to the monastery or whatever where you learn about the voice, on the way there was this canyon with a tree going over it, so I start trying to get my horse aligned on it and I keep almost falling over the side until I get the angle right and run across, turns out a bandit though that was a good time to run on the log and attempt to get in my way, needless to say he couldn't stop my horse and was knocked off the log to his death, RIP: stupid bandit.
