I think everyone tries the giants once...

My best moment: So I had already been sent into orbit by the giants once and I was in no way prepared to do THAT again. I had leveled up quite a few times and I saved to get ready to quit. I always like to do something stupid after saving but before quitting, so I looked around and spotted a mammoth. I already knew the mammoths were nigh invulnerable from past experience, so I snuck up behind one and poked it with my 6 inch steel dagger just for giggles.

It died INSTANTLY.

Greatest thing that ever happened to me in this game made me laugh so hard.

I was walking through Whiterun when I walk past a guard. He says to me "Psst, I know who you are. Hail Sithis!" Then promptly walks away.

There was also that time I was in Solitude. I forgot I had the Stormcall Shout equipped when I activated it. There were no survivors...

I was at full health and I jumped a couple steps of stairs. I then died. It was only a couple feet. At first I was outraged but it's funny in retrospect.

If you get the Argonian female as a wife.

When she says "Dearest" I crack up laughing. Why does the only marriageable Argonian sound like my aunt?

When Lydia died deep in Falmer-country I weeped before pulling my arrow from her chest. I left her there, in guilt... and carried on.

A week later her corpse showed up in my house in Whiterun. Everything still on it. No explanation of how it got there.

****MARKARTH SPOILERS AHOY****
In the mission in Markarth, at least I think it's called Markarth, where you investigate the forsworn murders, you get thrown in jail, (unless you fight back in which case I don't know what happens) once in jail you break out with the king of the forsworn, and he and his ragtag group proceed to decimate the town guard, me, being the cautious person that I am, decided to join in on the fun, assuming that the forsworn would take control of the town permanently, after acquiring a 10000 gold bounty I began to worry, rightly so, as the next time I returned to town I was greeted by quite a lot of guards, with the forsworn nowhere in sight, and thus began a lifetime of toiling in the dungeons mines...

I... killed a Sabre cat with FUS ROH DAH in its face and the poor beast broke its neck falling off a mountain.

When I was searching for the sword of Red-Eagle, some bastard came running down a flight of steps and I lunged at him with my greatsword. He did a somersault right over my head and his corpse ended up in a tree.

I'm on the top of the mountain, I see one of those dragon shrine things on the map just ahead of me, but looking around, I don't see it. I keep walking forward, plowing through some bushes just in front of me. As it turns out, those bushes were hiding the top edge of the extremely high cliff just in front of me. I look down to see the dragon shrine...

It's about a mile directly below me. That was a long drop.

I was walking the 7000 steps up the mountain and I saved my progress after reaching the snowy area about half-way up. I'd already spent a lot of healing potion on the wolves, but otherwise was doing fine. But turns out there's a troll blocking the middle of the road around the corner. We fight, I try to kill him, he sends my corpse flying down the mountain. Second time I put up a valiant fight...and he kills me again. 3rd time, the troll was gone so I figured I was safe to go...and then as I'm walking down the path, he pops out from behind a rock and kills me.

I just managed to hack a dragon to death in mid-air after a long fight atop rooftops. It flew below me and I pounced after it, killing it with one last sword stroke as we fell in a crumpled heap upon a cliff-side.
But you can't attack while falling in Skyrim. It isn't possible.

While the sneaking is fun, it's still as terribly unimmersive as ever.

Two bandits are talking to each other, and I shoot one in the head. He dies, and his buddy so nobly takes out his giant-ass sword and says "I heard a noise!"

Oh it gets better.

After hiding in between two pillars that the bandit can in no way get to, he puts away his sword and says "It must have been my imagination"

While his buddy is lying dead right in front of him with an arrow sticking out of his head.
this is even funnier at later levels in the game, when a single stealth arrow will no longer kill most NPC's. i shot on in the top of his bald head, he exclaimed "what was that?!" and searched for me. several moments later he sheathed his sword and said "i know i heard something...." yeah maybe the arrow sticking out of your HEAD is a clue.

the funniest things i've seen were all glitches. like people faces disappearing so they're just floating eye balls and teeth (this mostly happens to children, and it's extra creepy).

another thing is this: i bought the house in solitude, and was appointed a housecarl. well wouldn't you know it, every time i entered my house she would be sitting right at the entrance, and always have something snide to say.

"are you lost?"
"can i help you?"
"you shouldn't be here"

apparently the AI forgot that it was MY HOUSE that i bought for 20,000 gold. so i asked her to follow me, and led her to the sacrificial alter. ahhhh... peace and quiet in my house from now on

I used the console to resurrect a dragon that's body had been clogging up my doorstep in Whiterun, ran outside town so I could kill it there and hopefully it'd disappear. Most of the other corpses in the overworld have long since vanished. I thought it'd go away too. To this day it's still cluttering up the gate in Whiterun.
Made it really interesting when I stormed the castle as part of the Stormcloak attack on the city. I didn't realize it was a corpse (because after you resurrect the dragons they don't wither and give you a soul because that'd be a cheap way to farm souls and I'm personally glad the development team thought of that) so my first instinct was to charge it. Should have been a big hint that it was lying motionless on the ground instead of flying around roaring. I was too caught up in the moment to think of that.

Strangely, my friend was fighting his first ice-wraith and was very much losing. In fact, after endless potions and healing, my friend was disarmed and didn't realise. Intending to swing his enchanted axe at the wraith, his character stopped in it's track for about three seconds, basically froze, then unleashed a power-attack punch...

Which instantly killed the wraith despite it supposedly being immune.

I've no idea why it happened, all I know is it looked hilarious and badass to see a brave warrior throw his sword away and just "FUCK THIS"-punch a ghost so hard it explodes into shiny dust.

Not many funny things happen to Raj. Mostly tragic.

Raj get home, and go into living room, try to heal wounds after combat with dragon. Accidentally flame atronach. Certainly, this freak me out, so i proceed to stab it.

Flame Atronach fall over dead. Wife Mjoll come into living room, and scold Khajiit for miscasting. I apologize then "BOOOOOOM!", room bathed in fire!

Did you know Flame Atronach explode after death? Raj did not. Ruin house, sending everything in house off shelves. Make big mess!

Wife Mjoll cant help but laugh. Fire Burn off all of Raj's fur. Look pinker then pomegranate! Raj dislike next week in cold skyrim.

Now Raj see why nords always angry.

Turning into a werewolf and walking directly behind a bandit that was looking for me (I had killed about 11 of his bandit friends by that time) for about 4 minutes. He then turned around, I shouted, He ran, I chased him down, and then clawed his face into a fine paste.

Either that or the fact that there are 3 blood dragon skeletons hogging up the mill, road, and porch to the bar, inside riverwood. Funniest part? These dragons showed up each time I went to riverwood. Good thing they stopped too, its a small town and there's only so much room.

Killing three horkers, a dragon, and two snow bears on the coast northeast of Dawnstar (maybe. I forget, it was last saturday.), only to insta-killed by a mudcrab. I was ashamed.

First time I took on a giant, he smashed me so hard I must have flown six or seven miles into the air. I could see High Hrothgar from up there. Some kind of impact glitch. I was still rising when my game reloaded.

Using my two-handed axe I took off a guy's head, and it rolled all the way down three flights of stairs, down a stream into the pond at the bottom of Markarth.

A Courier ran onto the balcony during my battle with Odahviing to deliver me a note.

Sild the Warlock ran all the way up to the very top of his dungeon to kill me, whereupon I Force Pushed used the Unrelenting Force shout to send him flying off the bridge. He fell to his death, but, sadly, though I saved and reloaded several times, I could not time or angle the shout right to knock him into his own trap door. He died insisting he would be the one to kill me.

Got into a shouting match with a Drauger Deathlord.
I used a full blast of unrelenting force, sends him flying, gets up uses unrelenting force on me, fly out to room, get up, repeat for 6 full shouts each until he breaks against his throne.

I was walking through Morthal looking for my Dark Brotherhood target. I saw him from across a bridge. Our eyes locked as I moved in for the kill. No one was around, no one was going to notice till it was too late...

Then a dragon dropped out of the sky with no warning, grabbed the target in his mouth and shook him around, then threw him into the side of a building which killed him instantly...

Had I not wanted a dragon soul at that particular time I would have just walked away with some shades on or something.

I was tasked to kill a guy for a quest, when I get there, he actually just wanted to talk to me. I decided to take advantage of this and use some fire spell scrolls to kill him.
After I killed him I noticed that all his guards, some of whom I'm certain were out of the blast range, were dead. I could only assume that they committed suicide so they would be spared my awesome magics.

Also in one of my treks through some snowy mountains I saw a horse corpse roll halfway down from the peak to meet me at the path. No idea where it could have possibly come from as there were no other bodies or monsters around at the time.
