No amount of exercise will get you any results in 9 days I'm afraid.

Dropping your salt intake is a good start, get plenty of exercise. Its possible to loose a few pounds in a week (I once lost 5lb in a single week) by sticking to a good diet and getting a lot of cardio.

Proper diet is along the lines of
2 portions of meat
3 portions of veg
2 portions of fruit.
2 portions of carbs. (rice, pasta - preferably brown)

"portion" being approx 100g, or fist sized pieces.

And by cardio - something that makes you sweaty and out of breath.
This is close but not quite there it really depends on what you are doing.

Work on your Cardio (running, cycling, etc) and diet. No protein or carbs. That is all I can think of. Good luck :)
Definately not this, no protein and no carbs, complete utter cadswallop, a balanced diet needs carbs/complex carbs, fibre, protein etc etc etc particulary the two you said not to eat.

To the OT. Sorry mate but without regular exercise and regular sensible eating you will never lose weight. Crash dieting is useless, because your body tends to enter "starvation mode" and hold on to everythingits got.

Im doing an american programme called INSANITY - and yes I am aware you said you wasnt atheltic. I was 240LBS no strenght whatesoever, by the end of the 60 day programme I was 207 LBS and looking pretty darn toned on certain parts. It really is that awesome a programme, but by god it will make you sweat.

One of the biggest pieces of advice I can give you is what came from the Team Beachbody forums, which is a diet is of no use, you need to be changing your whole lifestyle. A diet plan that you stick to and an exercise routine you stay with for not days, not weeks, not months, but years.

I'll give you a basic fact now, the routine I do burns 800 - 1000 cals per routine (max interval training). Am i losing wieght because I am not eating as well, hell no! I am eating five meals a day 2500 cals worth, and thats to lose weight, if I wanted to just tone I would have to eat atleast 3000 cals/day.

But in all fairness, and as has already been said, 9 Days isn't a lot. I did lose two inches and 1/2 stone in 14 days on the INSANITY programme, however, I had to exercise extremely hard and eat the right food. The only thing you really need to avoid is saturated/trans fats in general ignore all this balony of cutting out carbs and proterin, your body will thank you for it later.
He wants to lose weitht in 9 days, I didn't say it was safe but it is the best possible way to lose weight fast. 9 days of this will not hurt. Protein builds muscle and carbs help maintain body fat. Remove the both of these and you will lose weight. If they are avoided for long enough, It will have negitive effects, but not for 9 days.

What? Are you serious? For 9 days? You'll friggin die, kid. If you don't get neither Carbs nor protein, your only energy-source option is fat. And that's not recommended. I've lost 60 pounds since January following 3 simple steps, eat 6 times a day (small portions, hightens the metabolism) exercise, EVERY day for at least 1 hour and drink shitloads of water.
He won't die, I have done it myself. I spent 2 weeks living on salad to make weight for a fight. It isn't safe in the long run, but 9 days won't hurt.

Getting sick will make you drop a few in a week (I know first hand), but that's not healthy, nor recommended.

Otherwise, can't be done by normal means.

No protein or carbs is sort of a bad idea. You need things in both, but like anything you eat, if you eat more calories than you're burning you'll gain weight. Fish is very good for you. It contains healthy fats that reduce cholesterol, and Omega-3 fatty acids which improve your heart health. Here is something on carbs.
Protein builds muscle and carbs help maintain fat. Over 9 days, it is the best possible way to lose weight, It isn't safe in the long run, but for 9 days it will work.

I think Brainiac did an experiemt to show you could lose a little bit of weight in a day. Such as shaving and doing vigorous exercise. Like everyone else has said, you won't lose a lot in 9 days.

I'm confused as to why you want to lose weight. If it's not affecting your health, you shouldn't have to change to suit other people. I know what kids are like in school though, so I can see why. But if you want to change for you, then I wish you luck.

You could try some evil combination of an hCG diet (really messed up, but apparently effective weight loss method; enjoy your 500 cal/day) and insane working out. Although I imagine you just might die.

I can tell you, as someone who lost 40 pounds, that this is not the right mindset. You're only going to get it done through absolute commitment and determination, not casually burning one or two more calories a day and trying to deceive yourself into loving your body.

At some points, I was spending 2 hours or more a day doing LISS cardio, and up to 15 minutes doing HIIT training (which will knock you COMPLETELY on your ass). There's probably a better way, but in three months, I lost about 30 pounds, and when I walked into school people barely recognized me.

Accomplishment feels good.
