Releasing the DLC for all platforms simultaneously is definitely a step in the right direction. Now, if they can fix the memory leaks that have plagued the PS3 version since Fallout 3, my faith in Bethesda / Obsidian will be restored.

Oh wow so..much...DLC... HnnNnnnnGnggggggggggg

But then there's the fact that all of them will have enough bugs to make the whole experience terrible.

Let's hope that doesn't happen.

sounds good, i just hope it's better than the atrocity that was Dead Money. Never regretted purchasing DLC before that one....
Thought Mothership Zeta was worse, myself.

anyone besides me wants the combat shotgun back?
Love that thing. Currently taking my 6th Fallout 3 char on the little trip to Evergreen Mills to acquire the Terrible Shotgun and never again have to worry about Deathclaws (or anything really).

Now how about releasing a patch that makes the game actually work? I still haven't played Dead Money because I can NOT get it to behave itself.
I was feeling the same way when the first dlc hit but now I just feel so done with it. I've been lending it out to different friends hoping that one of them has better luck with it but they don't.
If any of these dlcs end up being really cool, I might get goty for the pc.
I am on PC. It isn't much better.
But at least you got mods and some of them help with performance.
With the ps3 version we only have weird superstitious sounding things to make it run better: don't play the radio, don't autosave, restart the game after traveling to a couple of different places, pour chicken blood on your controller.
I can see how these things might help a little but at some point you're not playing the game, it's playing you like you're living in some old Yakov Smirnof skit about communist Russia.

I wonder how the DLCs will integrate into the main storyline.

For example, I should hope the saga with the Burned Man would take place after the main story of the game. It'd be kind of awkward to show up to Caesar's Camp with Joshua Graham in tow. Then again, with a May 17 release, it's gonna have to compete with L.A. Noire for my attention.

Other than the new location, Old World Blues sounds the least interesting to me. I mean, it's Fallout gameplay, so it's still the best news I've heard today. Still, if all it's gonna be is a shoot n' loot like Anchorage, I'll file it neatly in the "meh" folder.

Lonesome Road sounds freakin' awesome, though. Ever since I picked up the Collector's Edition playing cards, I've been stoked to find out more about Ulysses. The way Obisidian's been dropping hints along the way, it sounds like shit is about to get real. I cannot wait.

"The day I set my flag down, it'll be over my body or over a nation I believe in."
I believe Obsidian has confirmed that no DLCs will take place after the main quest has been finished. I don't know how they'll handle some of these overlapping quest lines, I suspect they'll simply keep the new areas largely separate (except for equipment brought back) but it's possible they'll try something else.

Waiting for the fabled GOTY edition.
I finally (sort of) finished FO3 last week after getting over my frustration with the game's broken-ness. Even if Bethesda and co. can't make a fully functional game, they still make GREAT FUCKING GAMES.

Although shit freezes every time I try to start the last quest: AGATHA'S SONG.

Joshua Graham is actually supposed to be dead...Caeser ordered to execute him after he lost in the First Battle of Hoover Dam...
and I don't actually see anything else (yet at least) that may make the main story line and the DLC story line incoherent or awkward

OT: Awesome, waited for a release date for a while now

I look forward to ALOT of this, Didn't care too much for Dead Money but the only reason was

I couldn't carry as many of the Gold Bars As I wanted without droping every damn thing I had (I only got away with 4)

Can you give me some reasons for why it was? Was it plot wise or playability? Personally I thought it was a good piece of the DLC (Not the Best I reserve that for Point Lookout). You were pretty much given a free area full of New Weapons, New Items LOADS of those jewels that pretty much gave you No reason to be without caps if you sell them right.

I ask because I believe I am the only one who liked it :(

at first I was like holy shit fallout ninjas, but then I saw it was supposed to be the burned man, and I can't decide if that is more or less awesome then ninjas in fallout. I mean, and this might be spoiler-ish or something but I don't really care its been out long enough there's wiki's about it and everything, dude was set on fire then thrown off a cliff into a raging river and LIVED that's pretty awesome in my book, well more bad-ass then awesome but it still applies.

I think the reason for this fast turnaround in DLC is because Last time with F3 they took forever putting out those that people got really pissed, especially the whole preferential treatment to MS(who can eat a fat one btw) and I remember reading in the blog that they were going to do better for NV and it appears that they are, the dlc itself is probably all Done except for debugging which is another good reason it would be out one month at a time, also GOTY edition is soon forthcoming I bet packed with all the dlc like F3

Here's what I hated about it:

Endless boring corridor shooting with the same repeated bullet-sponge enemies over and over

Wasted opportunity to communicate with Aliens and maybe have some cool moral grey areas or interesting back-story. Just black and white 'Alienz r bad and evil, derp' story.

Hardly any dialogue or interesting characters

Pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew....

Implied that Aliens stared the great war - utterly retarded canon shift.

Now I enjoyed the atmosphere of the ship and thought it looked cool.... but that was it.

Where did it drop that hint? I haven't played Zeta in forever and don't remember ever seeing anything along those lines.

I've been playing New Vegas to gear up for the next DLC but I didn't know we'd be getting 3 within the next 3 months. Not only that but it's getting released the day before 75% of my finals and my Birthday. What a mixture of horrible and awesome huh? Let's just hope they're (mostly) bug free upon release.
