Love at first sight?

We've all heard the cliche, two people spot eachother across a crowded room, their eyes meet and time freezes(quite often literally).
The concept of love at first sight has been the basis for many stories and songs, but does anyone here actually believe it can happen?
Can you know with one look that a person is meant for you, and that you want to spend the rest of your life with them?

Well there's "like" at first sight and "sexually attracted to at first sight" But I don't think you could actually love a person until you got to know them.

No, love at first sight is a myth. You cannot "love" someone by simply looking at them. You can be attracted to them, but you do not love them. Maybe you will go and talk to them, and it will blossom to love.

I'm not a love at first sight type, for me love takes time. It takes knowledge of the girl's person. It also takes trust, wich also needs time to develop.

I do not believe I could ever fall in love with someone at first sight. It takes me months to trust someone enough to give them my cell phone number.

On the other hand, I certainly believe a woman, or properly disposed man, might be able to fall in love with me at first sight. Because I am tEh awesome.

Well - i think those uberly happy shallow - fake - people can get what they call "love" at first sight with some just as uberly happy shallow and fake as them.

So it's up to how you put "love."
