Love at first sight?

Attraction isn't a choice. Sometimes you find someone who you just viscerally feel overwhelming attraction towards from the first moments you meet them. But it is attraction at first sight, not love. They are similar emotions, but they aren't the same.

It really just depends on how you define love. If you define love as physical attraction or the chemical processes that cause such, then yes, love at first sight is entirely valid. If you regard love as a strong emotional bond between people, then it's possible but unlikely. If you consider love as understanding, empathy, caring and a deep friendship between people, then not a snow-balls chance in hell. Sadly, the first tends to fade with time, unless you actively work at keeping the feelings fresh. The second and third not so much but the third is really the only one that can keep things going indefinitely. In the end, yeah, it could happen under the first or second definition but you'd better hope you develop the third or it ain't gonna last.

I think it's possible to have a connection to someone on site, but I think love at first site is a myth. But you never know.

No, there is no love at first sight. Then again I find the ability for two people to fall in love with each other as absurd. There is no way. I don't believe in love.
Then you my friend are a fool

"Life Is Love, And If you Miss Love You Miss Life"

But no it carn't happen carn't love in sight alone,
I am a fool for missing love? That seems like a harsh conclusion for now knowing me.

No that attraction that the two feels is really just infatuation with each other. Not love. The love happens later.

Infatuation? absolutely. True love? No.
To say yes, on some level, I would argue that you are undermining real love.

Count me in on this as well for the most part too, I hate that cliche with a passion and hate most love to begin with.

Well, it sometimes happens. But it's a rare case. Most things that are good that you don't have to work for are pretty rare.

Usually, like it's been stated, it's nothing but lust or sexual desire, but afterwards once you get to know the person, you may find something special in them.

I think the phrase itself is a bit of a misnomer; perhaps something like "infatuation at first sight" would be more appropriate (if clunky).

Regardless I believe it can happen. Obviously I wasn't there at the time but when my aunt and uncle were introduced to each other at a dance, it was as though there wasn't anyone else there. They're still together and happy today, about 30 years later.

Yes You are a fool if you say love is not real; mayhap you won't fall in love, but the vast majority do. And If you miss love it is probably your fault. Too harsh? Love is real end off, As real as happiness, sadness and anger. The best and worst feeling love is its own oposite.

So, I am being called a fool by someone because of my opinion on love? No, the people who try to force their views onto someone else are the fools. I am merely stating my own opinion on the matter. I do not care if people agree or disagree with my statement in the end it is all differences of opinion.

Like how the liberals and conservatives dislike each other. Neither side is right or wrong, they have differences of opinion.

There is a "god I want fuck her" at first sight but not love, love is just chemicals going nuts in your brain, this can't happen instantly and therefore love at first sight is impossible.

Its not opion what ever love is it is fact, I am not forcing my views on you I'm mearly saying you carn't say love is not real.
I have not seen any real proof though. Science indicates it as a type of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It seems the most logical. Also, why do you care so much? It is like you want me to actually say I believe in love which I don't.
