If you are a Ps3 owner this looks to be one of the most interesting releases in the future.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4nxx4nPXEE.

Looks interesting, but the command system will be a screw up i recon because people don't care about there squads or support them in my experience, (2142, Bf 2).

is this sonys game secret?

I could imagine what the squads would be like.

Imagine, 3 teams of snipers, teams of scouts, teams of assaut, teams of medics.

Now the commanders would tell some of his snipers to go there and fire at will.

There is the issue of one person wanting to be the hero, but hopefully people will get past their selfish natures and actually team up to defeat the enemy.

MAG has enourmous potential (no pun intended) but it could easily screw up and i hope it doesn't.

Sony is actually trying to soften us up - train us, even - into working efficiently in an 8 man squad. How are they doing this? The Resistance 2 Co-op of 8 players.
So Sony is in cahoots with the Military? OF COURSE, it almost makes sense now!

What the hell is "THE FLAG?!"?
Um have you not seen RvB?

Remember the multiplayer guys from season 3? They worshiped the flag.

Zealot:The flag is gone!
Red guy1:Oh no
Red guy2:What will we do
Zealot:Truly these are the end of times!Repent!Repent!

Okay, remember how I don't particularly like Halo, and am not in North America?
I'm pretty sure "I see some walls and some ceilings,no wait one ceiling!" is universal.

Because I and others quote it often on this site and its really popular.
Evidently not that much outside of North America.

And most of the time I put it down to you being drunk.
Well thats Canadian ignorance for you.

I've had one sip of wine in my life (at age 5) and thats it. I don't do any drugs.

Did I say you actually were drunk? I just wrote off incoherent phrases as coming from someone who was pissed while typing
Yes you wrote drunk the walls and ceilings is a quote from the series (I did put "") which is in the youtube video full of clips from the show.

EDIT:Well I go by what its classified.

Could be worse. Wardevils still saying 2010. Which I am not liking that much.

(The date, that is. The game looks sweet)
Could be worse it could be called MAGF Massive Action Game Forever or Wardevils Forever

It looks good, and I hope it succeeds. It'd be awesome if they pull it off... I mean, come on, a skirmish of 256 players?! Awesome!

One thing I noticed from the trailer is that it seemed to show the chain of command going past squad leaders. I wonder if one person is selected as the "general" and has to come up with the overall stratagy or if that is just the game that tells the squads where to go.

Just thought of something. It looks like MAG is sorta of a RTS from the eyes of the solider.
That might be one of the weirdest concepts I've heard (I didn't say bad, I said weird). So, instead of a player commanding an army of computer controlled grunts, a computer controls an army of player controlled grunts. Now it sounds freaky.
Sounds like Resistance 2's multiplayer. The computer tells the squads to defend or attack something and the players follow the orders.
