On topic. M.A.G stupid name, good looking game.

Throw in mouse and keyboard support and I'll play it.
MAG is a place holder title I believe not the actual title name I believe.
Oh thank god. All we need is a game with a title like that and all will descend into chaos. We'll end up with games like

'Totally awesome shooter 2: The better than halo chronicles'
Remember a game called Gun?
Yeah that was pretty bad. Game wasn't too terrible though.
And MAG will rock ass and not chew bubblegum.

I'm sorry Inners, but if you think PS3 owners are somehow more tactical than 360 owners, I fear you are sadly mistaken. Perhaps you've been fortunate in who you've played with and against, but the truth is that in the end both PS3 and 360 gamers are average shmucks like you and me. Some of them are college guys who like a round of multiplayer before they go out, some are kids who can't go 5 seconds without seeing an explosion... whatever platform, they are the same. Holding up PS3 gamers (especially 'exclusive' gamers, Jumplion) as a paragon of tactics and restraint over the general unwashed is just asking for trouble.
And what experience do you have with PS3 gamers? Most have a IQ high enough that'll you only need to lead by example. Seriously it happens A LOT on first party games and occasionally on third party but it still happens fairly often. Not like 360 where all I usually see is everybody for themselves.
Good to see generalisations are alive and well today.

I think you are tarring every 360 online game with the Halo 3 fanbase brush. After playing COD4 online I have found them to be totally different to the jerk-offs you get playing H3. It really depends on the game.
Plus I think you'll find that the PS3 online userbase is smaller than the 360 online userbase (which is a piss in the bucket compared to the PC online userbase) so you are more than likely to find a higher percentage of "questionable people". Add to that the fact you have to sell your firstborn to afford a PS3 in the first place, less families are going to be able to justify buying one and therefore pick up a 360 to satiate their ADD plagued offspring, thereby increasing the amount of foul-mouthed, pre-pubescent malcontents online.
However there are a lot who don't fall into that category. It would be like me saying "most PS3 owners I've come across are arrogant d1ckheads" because that's my "experience". In the larger contexts I would be proven to be wrong as I'm sure most PS3 owners don't fall into that category.

You know it makes sense.

So, what you're saying is that the average experience on the Psn is better than the average on the 360? Thats what we're all saying too.
While I'll admit I've only played Resistance online on PSN so I'm by no means an authority, I'd generally say it was a favorable experience. And yes I'd agree with you that it is a better crowd than what I find playing Halo 3. That said I enjoy playing Halo 3 more; the problem is the humans.

Just in case you guys don't know squadleaders and generals and comanders are selected by there sucess rateing in battle its all based on stats so naturaly the better tactictians will be selected. And Stats padders will be banned from the online XD.

And all you Console warriors can **** off i did not start this thread for that, feel free to discuss the Game ideas blah blah blah, BUT if people continue to slag of the 360, PS3 or Wii. Then they are retarded as they cannot gather that people who care don't come here to argue this is not a bloody trolling Forum!

Also it is not aparently like Resistance 2 it is more like battlefield,
Commander gives Orders Squads carry out those orders how they see fit.

Dude, whats their to enjoy more on Halo 3? This is not a fanboy thing, this is just me trying to understand why people prefer it.
For me Halo 3 feels more frenetic, most of my mates play online and I feel the 360 controller handles better for FPS's.
It would be interesting to know how much of the social element comes into play, like if most of my friends suddenly bought a PS3 and started playing Resistance would it raise the enjoyment level?

Good luck in your search for understanding. It will probably just frustrate you more than anything else.

Just do your job of pissing me off about how much you know of halo and how much of a fanboy you are and we'll do fine.

And I don't give a crap if it outsells all of these games, that doesn't make it good.
Ok high reviews do (Response:They are all paid off).It is good(Response:No its not!).

Don't play it then, I don't play Portal because I don't like no matter how good others say it is.

Then I'll take a different tactic. If we're gonna go by reviews, Metal Gear Solid 4 was better than Halo 3, according to Metacritic (and a fair amount higher based on user reviews). And thats with people treating the online as a seperate game.

And how do you know the reviews of games that haven't come out yet?
I didn't say Halo 3 will do better in reviews I said it will/has outsold them (like it has outsold MGS4 in the same amount of time).

(Might want to save this)

MGS4 is slightly better than Halo 3 (95>94)

I will admit this.

I don't like it but I can admit its better.

And you felt the need to bring up that because?

And because you forced me too, do you want to know whats likely to outsell that game? Wii Fit.
Yup but I thought the 360 and PS3 fanboys had a pact to write them off and only fight each other?

EDIT:Wait a minute you sure about that? Wii Fit has only sold 3 million. They'll need 5.1 million more.
EDIT2.0:WTF now a different site (as of July 08 too) has it at 5.8million. Well2.3million if that ones right.
