Am I the only one who doesn't like the original at all? I had heard all the praise that it got, and then I bought it and hated it. It bored the shit out of me, and I didn't feel powerful at all. Hopefully they'll change that with this one.

I'm already excited, I loved the first one, I just hope the sequel won't pull a God of War and drain you all of your powers before really starting the game and I also hope that they work out a good multi-story game, since the end you could have been praised a hero or become ruler of the city. Though I doubt that'll happen, it'll be nice to see some new electric powers too.

will there be hundreds of sniper armies on the rooftops of every single building in the game all aiming for me? That was the only downside to the first game for me. That and the final moves for hero and infamous. The heros electric charge was hard to hit with and the infamous chain lightning damage is bad.

Will I finally be able to shoot through Chain Link Fences or at the very least climb over them? I demand to know! I will not be tormented by the likes of them any longer!

A war will I wage! A war against them all!
You think you can defeat us? You are waging a war you will certainly lose.

Now bask in our eternal glory!
Nooooooooo...! I hadn't thought that you would amass such an army in such short time! However... this changes nothing! I refuse to bask! I will vanquish your unnecessary need to get in my way! I shall turn all of you into molten puddles of your former selves! I shall be victorious!

You have not heard the last of me... I will return!

If this truly is an indication of inFamous 2 being in the works then this gamer is a VERY happy lad. I loved the first one, and have replayed it several times. The only thing that I think would be great is the implementation of a movement system like that of Prototypes, where you can actually kind of fly.

Imagine being able to grab an enemy, charge him up with electricty, run up the side of a building then throw him into a group of his buddies below as spark-grenade, before leaping off the skyscraper and electro-slamming the whole intersection beneath to finish them off. Sounds pretty sweet to me!

I hope they improve the moral system, but otherwise I very much enjoyed InFamous.

Looks like it's about time I finished the first game if I don't want to be left out of the loop.

Well, i they do make a second one, I wouldnt be surprised. It was a good, popular series for them.

I didnt like it myself, but, I can certainly see the appeal for it

I enjoyed the first one. It was fun and surprised the hell out of me.

The characters were kind of stiff though... and corny. Not to mention Cole's voice showed little to know emotion. But hopefully stuff like that will be improved for the sequel.
Am I missing something or does there seem to be a major Spartacus surplus on this site.

OT. I hope they fix some of the faults from the first game. Still an awesome game, though, with probably the best controls of any console game this gen.

Sounds good, hope they do make it.
I didn't think the moral system was too bad in the first, but I've yet to complete it.

Speaking of which, I really should before the second hits...

I really liked Infamous, but it'll be hard to do a sequel without having to use the stupid "oh look I suddenly lost all my cool powers" stunt at the start. At the end of Infamous you're so incredibly powerful that the second game will need to be horribly hard from the start if you keep all your powers -- which would make it inaccessible to people that did not play the original.

Infamous2THEGAME.com? Why 'thegame'? Are they working on film, book, towel, action figure and feminine hygiene franchises too? Or has someone sneakily stolen infamous2.com already?

Loved the first game!
I had to grind earning 9xp per fight in order to get another 3000xp just so that my evil Cole was a completed Cole.

Hopefully the second game will improve the climbing physics...it's not that they weren't great, but for a guy who took no fall damage and had seemingly super-strength (after a point), you'd think he#d start to climb faster and more fluidly as the game progressed.

The first game was 7/10 material. Lets the new one improves on the formula significantly.
Agreed. I've never understood why a lot of people said "Infamous does sandbox right" I finished everything there was to do do in the game within a week. Felt rather bitesized to what it could've really been.

No, brother. You are not. I too bought and subsequently hated inFamous. I was also bored shitless. The only thing I was enjoying by the end was the story, but the ending cutscene ruined that for me too (the twist mentioned in the article blew it for me).

As for the second one, I wish the greatest enjoyment towards everyone who is looking forward to it, but to me, the first game was so awful that I refuse to even consider buying #2.
