Majora's Mask Plotline Question!!!!!

So I was reading the intro to the collectors edition of zelda fo GC. Then in the description for the plot it basicly said as link was looking for a old freind of his he got dragged into this adventure. Anyone know who it is?

There many theory about it. Some say it's Navy the fairy... but i beg to differ. The Skullkid are basically the Kokiri that lost themselves in the LOST WOOD. I remember that there 2 kokiri that mention Saria in the beginning of Ocarina of Time. One is Mido, or as i like to call it, the Deku Tree's *****. The other one is a kokiri named... i forgot, but he's clearly in love with Saria. I think he's pulling the bush around Saria's home. Since Saria is the Forest Sage, i don't believe she can become a Skullkid and play the "Saria Song" at the end of Majora's Mask. So, i'm willing to bet that this kid went to the lost wood to search for Saria and got lost, Turning him into a Skullkid. He then "fall upon" the portal to Termina. I say that's delightfully Tragic, like an Opera.

that theory takes up a lot of ifs and is in no way supported by the story or any assorted canon of the game...

so in other words... that theory is bunk.

if you play through the end credits of LoZ:OoT you will see link return the master sword one last time, after which Navi will fly up to the window and disappear. this the last time the player sees Navi...

Leave Link because her mission is over and she say farewell. But at the end of MM, the skullkid play Saria's song. Like i said, only Kokirien can become Skullkids if they get lost in the LOST WOOD. Since it can't be a fairy, your theory is bunk. Also, It wasn't the skullkid to who you play the song either, because Link showed no interest into the skullkid at the end. Therefore, he's looking for someone that haven't being turn into a Skullkid. Now that this is out of the way, show me proof.

Ok the answer to the first question is easly found in the intro (obviosly I just learned that). So I do not have to play to the end to figure it out. But I have finished the game.
