Throw STALKER into the world of BioShock with the size, freeroamingness, and amount of content of Fallout 3, and double the amount of content/missions with modding support.
You said you wanted to play as an SS officer, torturing POWs and inmates of the concentration camps. Yeah, I think that's just over-stepping the boundaries a little too much.SidingWithTheEnemy said:So what's your point? You really want to tell me that the FPS Games are political correct (or even remotely accurate) right now?Bishop99999999 said:So basically you want violent politically charged war porn that places traditional good guys as the enemy so you can inflict suffering on them.
No way is this thread going to derail...
Why don't you try to stop critizing MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE and offer a better one!
If this thread is going to derail it's because some people are unable to deal with constructive critism and rather stick to whining, complaining and ranting.

- Ability to open door via grenade/rocket launcher instead of running around like achicken with its head chopped off in search for keycard, switch, or lever.
- Ability to destroy fences.
- Ability to level down whole buildings with proper usage of explosives.
- Jump - grab overhead platform - elevate.
- Story : I, Theodore Roosevelt, Ernest Hemingway and Arthur Conan Doyle visit Africa in hope to climb Kilimanjaro but are sucked by some distortion of reality and end up wandering throught times and places in hope to fix history and find way home. Usage of elephant guns NOT OPTIONAL.
Oh ye gods, they're coming back. I thought they'd all left.FreakSheet said:Hmmm... lets see

That right there is my kind of lockpicking skill.Mafoobula said:Fun fact: In the real military, our "entry weapons" usually means either a mighty boot... or a shotgun. I'm not even kidding. Padlock giving you a headache? Bust out the sawed-off. I will instantly buy the FPS that lets you use a shotgun to "unlock" a door.
Hmmmmmmmmmm. Thought some may find idea of "Teddy", Ernie and Arthie mixed with Parkour amusing, i'm not sure if i'm ready for such scenario.Don Savik said:Red Faction destruction, Mirror's Edge parkour with time travel? Epic.JesterRaiin said:Single player ?

No, actually all I said was that I wanted your wishlist and your ideas...Stephen Wo said:You said you wanted to play as an SS officer, torturing POWs and inmates of the concentration camps. Yeah, I think that's just over-stepping the boundaries a little too much.
Also, games have to be fun to play. That's why they're called "games". If I'm playing, say, FMJ: The Game, I want to get the adrenaline pumping. If there's a cloud of self-punishment hanging over my head, I can't enjoy the GAME.
You just seem like one of those college freshmen who just started taking political-science.
I like small or no huds as well. Why is keeping track of your bullets so hard?Puzzlenaut said:I want a FULLY 1st person shooter with NO cutscenes WHATSOEVER.
I also want literally no HuD -- all the information the you need should be presented via the environment.
In terms of setting and plot I'm not too fussed so long as its high quality, though that said, something the FPS genre really needs is a TRULY Steampunk game -- the closest things we have at the moment are games like Bioshock, which aren't quite Steampunk.
True Steampunk could make a FANTASTIC setting with some incredibly unique gameplay.

For the "natural" HUD, I'm game, just as long as injuries aren't represented by big, blurry "blood veins" obscuring the view. Maybe an audio cue? Or a wrist watch on your gun arm.
Have you ever played cortex command? It has 2 or 3 of the 4 covered, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone made a mod for the projectile limbs thing.saucecode said:Destructable terrain. 16 bit arcade graphics. use your victims dismembered limbs as projectiles for your rocket lawnchair.
