"Hello, good Sir." I say to the masked man. "We're having a spot of car trouble."
I indicate the upturned wreck.
"Could I possibly use your phone to call someone?"

"Sure. Just... just call the cops and tell them to send a squad car to pick us up. They can sort this mess out." I say. "We're plain clothes officers. Got called out to a possible homicide in the park."
"Didn't you hear? There was an incident at the station. They're busy dealing with that issue right now. I can call a taxi for you if you like. Or you could just go and get on a bus."
"Neither of them have places to put criminals. And how would you know about an incident at the station before us?"

I grab the masked man by the throat, then stab him in the leg.
"Too bad your personal hitman is sitting in a bush spying on your buddies." I snarl. "This time, he won't be able to get rid of any 'nuisances' without letting himself get caught, which he won't do."
I lightly scratch the masked man's face with the tip of my knife, then hold it in front of his eye.
"And your buddies can't come to your rescue, because that would lead them into our trap and we would just gun them down. You can't attack me, because I just need to move my hand forward to kill you on the spot, and even if you have a way to disarm me, you need to do it fast before I choke you into unconsciousness. Or before you bleed out of your femoral artery."
I loosen my grip slightly.
"Or, you could tell us why you're here and nobody has to die. Unless they want to."
I grab the masked man by the throat, then stab him in the leg.

The man sighs, before pointing to his body armor, which only allowed the knife to cut the flesh of his leg. He spits in your face, and pushes you away, before leaping back.

I sigh, then put on my welding goggles and fire up my plasma cutter.
"You're really making this hard for yourself, aren't you?"

I wake up. My body is bruised all over and the front of my chest is stained with vomit. There are bloody scratches on my arms and face and red stains underneath my fingernails. I read the note and the text. I stand to my feet shakily and hobble onto the roof wheezing. My legs burn with every step. "Reich's." I mutter to myself. I see it from the roof and run. I leap off and blast electricity behind me with my gauntlets, propelling me forwards. I land boots first on the green masked man, my hands burned and smoking.
