I bare the minigun on the crowd and prepare to fire as they disperse and begin to attack us individually a good five or so of them snarling and scratching my suit. They start doing real damage as I am overwhelmed until I remember I can just electrify my suit, sending them running into the stores. "The powers of Satan! Run!" shouts the apparent leader of my attackers as he runs away.

"This mall. I suddenly dislike a lot."

I start firing flaming arrows into the crowd. "Guys, I see the stairs going down! Only problem is, there over there!" I point to the far side of the mall.

"Screw this." I grab the rest of the party and van and rocket boost through the hostile crowds, their arms all trying to reach up and grab me. We finally reach the stairs as I cvover the party with my last few rounds of minigun as they drive down the stairs, this time stable enough to handle the Bizarro G-Van.

"Alright, where the hell are we now?" I ask finally seeing the new sub-basement.

I push open the back doors of the van and yell to the drones, "See ya later, shit lords!" I start slashing any who grab onto the van.

"Motherfuck!" I do a 180 degree turn and reverse around the new basement. All the shops are shuttered, and the strip lights flicker menacingly.

I look around and see that the walls are littered with RIP and names, and how the person died and what year it was. "Guys? I think we're in the Mall's graveyard."

"The hell? Even graveyards aren't this quiet." I walk around the new area, seeing little aside from closed stores and empty shopping abgs scattered about. Until I see a giant three-toed foot print in the ground. Bursting from one of the shops is a goddamn T-Rex.

"We're gonna need a bigger van."

"Pimpbastard, prove yourself!" I leap from the van's roof to the dinosaurs head, embedding the blade in an eye socket and switching it to full power. It drops dead.

The T-Rex stomps on me, and...Nothing? It flickers. "It's a hologram?" I look for a source but there's nothing except closed shops, and memorials. I then see a nuclear explosion. I realize something. "It's showing how people have died in these malls."

"That means that in this mall, at some point in time or somewhere, there was anuclear strike and a T-Rex. Never before has the local mall felt so alien."

Then I begin to see the players in these holograms of death. And I see us in ways we haven't died in yet.

I look around. "Guys, one of these memorials goes all the way back to 1745. These malls have been around for a long time."

"Tox is unconscious, I knew we'd need these gas masks, put him next to knife and make sure yours is attached properly." I put gas masks on our sleeping team mates.

"1745? Did they even have malls during then? Guess it was more of a mystical marketplace. Think even G-Man knows about these?"

Looking about the graveyard, I see one hologram of the G-Van running off a cliff and exploding halfway down, all of us dying. "These don't just show who's died. These show when they're dying and how."

"Lets go. I'd rather not wait for an incredibly gruesome death of us, as I want to hold in my breakfast." I start walking down to the next basement.

Inside the next basement is an even farther back in history version of the mall, now an out in the open marketplace, with merchants crying out for their wares to be bought at low prices, redcoated soldiers patrol the area, enforcing the law. Everything appears to be histroically accurate, aside from everyone not having a face.

Wait what?
