I open the doors of the mall, and take in the outside world.

I polish the eyepieces of my gas mask and don it before following Zombie outside.

"Well. It's...less bright than I imagined. Air seems fine though."

 

[Saltarius]

I punch Zomb in the arm.

"No you moron. That was more self-deprecating humor based on my lack of eyesight."

 

[Paddy the Second]

I pick some leaves and attempt to smoke them. "UGH! Oh good lord, no."

"I'm starting to doubt your credentials as a pilot..."

I spot a plant. It hisses at us.

I pull myself free, large leeches attached to my boots. I pull one off, it's about a foot long. "Hey Salt, family resemblance?"

"My parents are dead."

I cough.
