Hilarious. So for all their abuse of privacy and for all their bullshit, they can't actually notice a guy carrying a bloody loaded weapon onto a plane. And he wasn't even trying to hide the damn thing.

I think the thing is that he probably looked like your average texan dude. They have guns sure, but average texan dudes do not hijack planes, thus they did not check him as proper as perhaps they should have. If he looked even slightly arabic they'd be doing a full cavity search as standard after looking extra hard on all the scanners.
