I'd love to see a mana bar in england but somewhere with a better reputation than Manchester or Liverpool (no offence meant, i live in the east of Englandand quite often hear on the news about more attacks/ murders or other crimes). In my oppinion It would have t be in a town or city that is a large tourist destination or quite well known.

Note: Again no offence was meant about my comment on liverpool or manchester they just have a bad reputation where I am and what I said is the oppinion I have come up with based on what I have heard

It's not up to them whether or not you get a gaming bar, but it is up to them whether or not you get a ManaBar.
The rights for trading under the name "ManaBar" "The Mana Bar" and "The Manabar" are still up for sale in the EU, as is the trade mark logo they use in Australia. Someone can very very very easily just buy up those rights and open a ManaBar that looks exactly the same with exactly the same drinks and ManaBar Australia can't do anything about it.

This was the case with the two "Budweiser" beer manufacturers, hence why one of them now has the tag line "The real Budweiser taste" (or something similar) despite a legal court case, no laws were broken.
I find that shocking and a large oversight. Surely the first thing they would have done is buy out all rights and take out trademarks that are relevant to their business.

Well, someone should either bring this to their attention or capitalise on the info. Either way. It's a win win.

I'm sure they have done in Australia, but its a region by region thing.

Yeah, but I mean internationally. Or at least in regions that are logical expansions (ie. Europe and North America)

true, probably would have been the ideal thing to do, but these requests can take time and you have to actually make use of them after a certain time from purchasing them or they're deemed dormant and are opened up again (which, yes, you can just keep re-purchasing them but its very costly to secure many regions with you're trademark and company name and the actual request itself takes alot of paperwork and time)

but heck, their mistake, i plan to capitalise on it.
