Having read Last Order, I just regret the fact Kishiro had to end it prematurely the first time due to unspecified personal trauma. The ending to the first run is a last minute rush job that's alright, but not really as good as the rest of the series.[/quote]

but i rather like Hentai--it's anime
I've always thought that it screams "I have Issues"

That's largely because it does, the same set had by those people who "only like 2d girls", those fags. I will admit though, it's quite balsy (if a little misinformed) to actually be open about it.

I currently own the 18 books of Fruits Basket that are licensed in the UK (to my knowledge no more are currently licensed here, though they'll come out soon). I feel I'll be somewhat in the minority who enjoys Fruits Basket considering the current tastes shown in the thread, but dammit I loves that series.
My sister's liked it, however it is enjoyable
That's what I get for enjoying girls manga I guess.

Picking a favorite out of either anime or manga is a feat I am not sure I am up to. But I will toss a few names out there. History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Tenjou Tenge, Higurashi( Only available in anime form as far as I know, and one of the best anime I have ever seen).

My favorite Manga is Hayao Miyazaki's "Nausicaa", which I would say is the Japanese Equivalent of either Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, take your pick.
The movie was excellent as well. I recommend basically anything by Miyazaki.
The movie is good but the manga is MUCH better, especially since the Movie only covers the 1st book of 4 and leaves out the Empire of Dorok, The Mutant Fungus and so much other awesome stuff that shows up in books 2-4.

I wouldn't go name-calling, what I was meaning was that the Idea that a realistic woman doesn't reach your expectations, might say that you have a Sexual Deviancy (nothing wrong just, abnormal)

Hehe, obviously I'd have to do digging for research. But it's actually less abnormal to have a fetish or deviancy than most people would imagine. The only reason it doesn't seem so prevalent is due to the fact that alot of it stays behind closed doors. S&M, Furries, and the various clothing and thematic related fetishes are surprisingly mainstream, but those are but the tip of the iceberg as they say.

I guess it depend on either a fetish is Tangable or part of the mind... & I feel we're getting off topic,
So:
Isn't where the Manga and Anime diverge is how they kill Greed?

Yup:

Father kills Greed and re-absorbs him, later Lin Yao get's offered/forced to absorb Greed's essence, thus becoming the second Greed.

There are lot's of different things like that, but the biggest noticeable split between the anime and the manga occurs almost halfway through the anime, from there the stories are widely different but share a few plot points.

Also, I'd like to put in a mention for Priest:

It's a Korean 'Manhwa' by a guy named Hyung Min-woo. Think of it as a Western fused with the influence of H.P. Lovecraft and verious other horror elements. The style is a bit unusual, very angular, but I've grown to like it.

I'm going to have to recommend:
Yuria 100 shiki - borderline hentai humor
My Balls - borderline hentai humor
The World God only knows - extremist dating game humor
Rabuyan - pedophilia humor
Rosario+vampire - action humor
Franken Fran - gore humor
Oh, while we're recommending adult-themed manga, the anime/manga series "Doujin Work" I thoroughly enjoyed. It was fairly short which was a pity, but I really enjoyed it.

My fav anime is (believe it or not) School's Days, because the characters were amazingly fleshed out and really full of emotion (i liked the manga ending better as well) howeveri obviously wouldn't be makoto because guys like him piss me off.

However if i could be any manga character i would be... Katsuragi Keima from the recent manga "The World God only Knows" because he is the best male anime comedy character of all time.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally my favorites are YuYu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin because I watched them a lot when I was younger. I still read the Rouruni Kenshin Manga from time to time.

Also Fullmetal Alchemist and... something I'm forgetting get mentions.

I'd totally be Sojiro.

My favourite is a classic, Lady Snowblood.

Nothing beats a revenge crazed assassin whose primary technique is to strip off as a way to distract the various bodyguards.

Priest is brilliant, the art is so different and grainy, the story works perfectly with that style of art.

In terms of anime, probably FMA or Excel Saga, depends if I'm in a weird mood or not.

I'm going to second Priest, it's been nothing but great so far. Also, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Lum: Urusei Yatsura are pretty much the "end all, be all" of manga. Just about ANY anime or manga you see ANYWHERE took inspiration from these two mangas. Gin Tama and Cromartie High School are two very funny mangas, although I prefer Cromartie. Naoki Urasawa's Monster is very well-written from a literary standpoint, as is Hunter X Hunter (the only "Shonen" I really like anymore.)

im not sure about the difference between manga and anime (sorry fot the ignorance) but my favourite "manga" has to be 'cyber city oedo 808' just because i love cyberpunk and it was the first "manga" i saw, so its always stuck with me. and my favoutite character has to be Amano Jyaku from Urotsukidoji purely down to his kickass factor.

Urotsukidoji eh? Haha, one of the porniest sets of porn to technically not really but yes it is to not be porn.

*kaff* Anyway:

Manga: Japanese comics.

Anime: Japanese animation.

That's a simplification of course, as there is a whole set of styles associated to both the print and animated forms of eastern entertainment, both in Japan and other countries. France has produced quite a number of anime for example.
