With Bleach also over, and Naruto on the downswing (Books over, show still going for a while and also a spinoff of his kids is gonna happen), and One Piece having enough to go to 2026 (not even joking, lads and germs), I think Fairy Tail is gonna take one spot of the Big Three, and...

Attack on Titan, while reeeeaaalllyy fuckin' good, is only gonna go to 20 volumes so I don't see it really lasting forever.

Hmmmmmm...
I would love for Hokuto no Ken or Hajime no Ippo to get super popular again, but I don't see it happening.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, Sword Art Online is kind of a niche thing but I still see it lasting for a long time.

I still can't tell if Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is popular enough for this, but I would love for it to be.

I don't think anyone knows if Kill la Kill will be coming back, or if it was popular enough for this.

I loved Psycho-Pass, and for that or Sailor Moon Crystal to get super big would be awesome.

As long as it is not that trash, Hunter x Hunter.

Please don't have it be Fairy Tail. It started out kinda fun but has become so incredibly.... I want to say sexless but that would be ironic seeing the fanservice. Uniform? Uninspired? Other mean words?

I also don't want it to be SAO for my undying hatred for its main character....

Maybe a new challenger will appear.

I wasn't that much into NARUTO and I prefer ONE PIECE over any manga but still I am gonna miss the JUMP TRIO and without NARUTO Wednesday are gonna be pretty empty.... but hey , NARUTO season 3 is coming soon, probably this spring so I don't have to wait so long and start another manga to fill the hole... and there's BOKU NO HERO ACADMIA and TORIKO .... and FUKKA as well..

I dunno.

I just wish anime would come out with something that actually catches my attention. I used to watch anime a lot - never obsessed with it, but I always liked it.

For the past few years, though... I dunno, I've just lost all patience with the medium. It started seeming really repetitive to me, and every show either had a horrible ending (Code Geass, Death Note) or overstayed it's welcome and didn't know when to end.

I wish something would come along to... reignite my interest. But all the popular anime (SNK, Kill La Kill, etc.) just can't catch my attention.
Fate/zero and madoka magica were surprisingly good. I never quite bought into the hype, but they really were solid narratives. I just started watching satoshi kon films too, though they're probably only new to me. Real masterpieces. Most of those aren't light hearted though : /

Also, obligatory berserk recommendation.

OT: replace naruto? I'm sure some young hot shot Japanese kid with bullying problems will start something right out of high school. Then we'll be subjected to several more years of screaming teenagers and flashy fight scenes. If it isn't clear, I'm not the biggest shonen fan : P

Under the Dog could be quite big, though.
As someone who dislikes a lot of "mainstream" anime, my recommendation would be Psycho Pass. Probably one of the more intelligent animes I've seen...well, ever. And if you like Fate Zero, the new Fate Stay Night anime is quite good, similar in style to its prequel.

They remade Fate Stay Night? Is it on crunchyroll? I thought the original was a little too silly, but if the writing is better then ill have to check it out. It had potential, but fate/zero was much better.

I forgot to mention saikano for anyone interested in drama. It's a war story that focuses on the civilians. It's been compared to grave of the fireflies, though I would argue that it was actually superior.

They're remaking it right now, but it follows the Unlimited Blade Works route of the Visual Novel, as opposed to the Fate route of the 2006 version, so the plot is somewhat different, but fans generally consider this route superior anyway, so no loss there. In terms of style and animation it's very close to Fate/Zero. The tone is maybe a bit lighter, they are bound to an existing piece of work after all, but they manage to keep the silliness relatively toned down.

It isn't on Crunchyroll yet, but it probably will be at some point.
