The Human race is the only creature that will stop at nothing to defeat it's bother. Yet our goal of victory includes methods such as:

The Guillotine
Death by Hanging
Gas Chambers
Death By Firing Squad
Bombs
Guns

What I want you to do is answer this question:

Is the human race flawed to a unfixable degree?

Also, post any other means that we have created to kill ourselves.

Apparently, bees, ants, and termites have never fought each other. Humans are silly.

Yet no other species slaughters itself with such apparent glee and vigor, and that's the freaky part, humanity is pretty much all the same species, many of these other critters are different species.

"As a species we're fundamentally insane. Put more than two of us in a room, we pick sides and start dreaming up ways to kill one another. Why do you think we invented politics and religion?"

Yeah they will, but usally over food/territory/mate.

Humans will shoot a guy for not changing the toilet paper roll.(A completely true story that was in the newspaper several years ago.)

Yeah humans are dumb, we are ruining Earth and we may boast about being the best speices but at least other types of animals don't just kill each other for no reason.
Some whales have been known to torture seals and leave them half-dead at the bottom of the sea, for no reason other than fun. So there.

*Sarcasm*-OHHHH I am SO sorry MASTER. Just Because I Signed up 5 months ago and haven't posted any APPARENTLY make me a new user who starts new threads just for the sake of posting threads.

This is the OFF-TOPIC Section, so I was clearly and totally wrong to post a OFF-TOPIC in the OFF-TOPIC section.

Again, SOOOOOOOO Freaking sorry for offending your belief that you are the only one who has ANYTHING important to say.*End Sarcasm*

I like to generalize over six billion people too.

Ok... anyone who says that human beings are the ONLY violent species out there is full of shit. Black and red ants enslave eachother while resorting to cannabalism, and just turn on animal planet for 5 seconds! Yes, humanity loves violence, we love it to the point of breaking it down into an art form. This doesn't mean we're all going to lose our minds and become raving lunatics (much like Condemned Criminal Origins). We just simply are programmed to survive in what was once a much more... brutal setting.

Bees, ants and termites aren't capable of fully concious thought. Humans are able to judge what they are doing, but proceed regardless.

...what's that actually meant to mean?

If you're trying to say that bees, ants and termites all have moral compasses, I'd say that's a little off.

It means that unless you yourself are a bee/ant/termite/insect, you can't really be sure that they know what they're doing or not.

I can see where this thread is coming from actually...
as the most intelligent species on the planet, you'd think we'd have got past this kind of thing. But it's funny what being able to make choices does, isn't it?
It means that although we know what we're doing is wrong, we can choose to ignore it and do so anyway...

I'd say it's a safe bet to say that termites don't know the difference between right and wrong.

Termites are smart enough that they don't feel the need to concern themselves with such petty matters.

As I've explained at length in another thread, right and wrong are not universal constants.
