That was one of my complaints about the first one. And now my next complaint is that People with motion sickness can't look at it without vomiting.

This is one example where "more of the same" is a good thing, because even with "more of the same" in mario galaxy, you were never doing the same thing for too long because levels all had their own unique mechanics and feel. There was a lot of variety and just plain fun in that game.
Indeed. This is not a bad thing at all, I would love more Mario Galaxy. They can do the totally new radical direction for the next console.

I think they already had a lot of these ideas for the first one but couldn't fit them in.

Never finished the first one. Maybe because I got tired of horrible camera controls or maybe because it was too much of the same thing. I don't know, but I haven't played it in over a year and I forgot all about it. I did, however, finish Luigi's Mansion and a sequel might not be a horrible idea.

i'm glad they added Yoshi and you can ride him instead of him just giving you 99 lives when you are completely done with the game

Hmm, since Yoshi's in the game, I guess this means the bee suit won't be making a return. The major reason why Yoshi wasn't in the first Galaxy was because his hover ability was already taken care of by the bee suit, and there wasn't any real reason to have his ability to eat things in it.

Meh. I actually got bored after the 1st level in number 1. I did perservere and finish it with Mario and Luigi.

I have no opinion on this, as I have yet to purchase Super Mario Galaxy.

See what I did there?
I.....no. Help?
The thread title is Mario Galaxy 2, when the title is actually SUPER Mario Galaxy.

I loved Super Mario Galaxy. In the face. Twice.

Sexual innuendo aside, I'm very much looking forward to this.

Excellent... always liked the Mario series but you have to agree with me when I say there's something a bit disturbing about the drug-filled series

More of the same isn't always bad.

They could have made the title "Super Mario Galaxy: Dinosaurs In Freaking SPACE" though.
