That's really surprising given that The Incredible Hulk came out more than a month after Iron Man.
Did it? I don't remember. I always tend to see these things a fair while after they come out anyway.
But if you saw The Incredible Hulk a fair while after release then Iron Man would have been out for a fair while plus one month. :p

I don't know if it's been said, but the stone in Loki's staff is most likely the "Mind" stone, belonging to the Infinity Gauntlet.

Bear in mind that when I first noticed that, neither of the Iron Man films had even been announced. My mind was blown when I saw it.
The second hulk fim? the one with ed norton?...sorry but the first iron man came out before that one...the month before it to be exact

At the end of the Avengers Stark's tower is left with just the letter 'A' on it.

In the comics, Stark's tower was the first HQ of the Avengers.
I'm guessing this isn't a coincidence
... the fact that the A in Stark is the same shape as the Avengers A makes the idea of a "coincidence" pretty unlikely.

That seems likely. That's two setups for the gauntlet now, the first one being it's cameo in Thor.

'A fair while' is not a fixed amount of time, it also means I don't see the films in sequence. I find it quite funny how indignant people will get on the internet. I made a comment based on a mistake, it doesn't require this sort of attention.

Yes, because Tony Stark is even in the movie.

Anyways as for easter eggs:

Betty Ross is dating a "Psychologist" during Incredible hulk, not sure his name is revealed, but it got me thinking a possible point to Doc Samson?

The Captain america comic that is sold durig the Cap movie wears captain america issue 1s cover.

Now, for my own input, though this is less of an easter egg and more of a question- what's up with the girl they randomly focus on during the final battle in the Avengers? A full slo-mo camera focus and then you see her talking on the news later. Is she a character/reference to a character from the comics?
I saw this. She's always looking at/talking about Captain America if I recall, and is seen 3 times. Part of Cap 2 perhaps?!

I thought they actually said his name in the movie too.

The Eye of Agamotto is seen in Odin's Vault if I remember correctly, tying in Doctor Strange.

By the way, in Thor, Selvig says about a scientist friend of his who got SHIELD's attention and was never seen again. Was this scientist Bruce Banner? Or somebody else? He mentions gamma radiation so it probably is Bruce...
I read in an interview with Kevin Feige (the President of Production at Marvel Studios)that he was referring to Banner, but he is going of rumours so he doesn't have all the facts straight.

Right after that Selvig says ?I have a friend who has had experiences with these people. Let me email him.? The friend was Pym aka Antman, but they changed it so the name wasn't said as they felt they were throwing in to many references to quickly.

Stark's tower was far from their first HQ. They started off in Avengers Mansion in the 60's. Stark Tower was built less than a decade ago.

Hey dude, you made a mistake and I'm making a joke about it. Nobody needs to get upset. :)

No reason to assume that anybody is indignant either.

I wasn't referring to you specifically. Six people have now taken it upon themselves to crack the same joke about the same comment. No-one's getting upset, I think it's interesting.
